He loves it
I was really nervous about moving my son to online school at first but I’m so glad we gave it a go.
I’ll be honest.. I was quite sceptical about the whole online schooling thing as its all very new to us but we’ve had a really good experience so far.
My son seems to be enjoying his lessons and he’s definitely a lot happier learning from home. The teachers have been lovely and communication has been good too - which was something I was a bit worried about initially.
Its still early days for us but we’re happy with how things are going.

Would recommend!
What really stands out about this school is how much they genuinely care. And I don’t just mean before enrolment, but afterwards too.
I’ve found with some places that they’re really helpful and attentive when you’re first signing up, but once you’ve enrolled you’re pretty much left to your own devices. That hasn’t been the case here at all. We’ve felt supported throughout and even the occasional check ins to see how things are going have meant a lot.
My daughter was previously with another online school, which I won’t name. The lessons themselves were fine, but the communication was honestly terrible. Getting hold of someone was so difficult and as a family we never really felt connected to the school. It was quite an isolating experience, especially as home education can already feel lonely at times.
Since joining Ivy High things have been different. My daughter really enjoys joining her lessons and is slowly finding her motivation for education again which is lovely to see. We’re even hoping she might feel ready to sit her GCSEs this year fingers crossed!
Its just nice to feel like the teachers and staff actually care about your child and how they’re getting on. I would definitely recommend Ivy High for anyone considering it.
