Expensive postage and no returns for UK purchases

Website said postage was €5 for Europe, but then charged €20 for the UK, which last I checked was still in Europe. Item arrived fine, but was too small. When I tried to return, the website said they don't take returns from the UK. Will never purchase from IXS again.

Banned for asking for the correct item.

I ordered a Pinlock for my IXS 301 helmet. They shipped very fast, but sent the wrong item.
I requested the correct one and told them it was urgent for my riding safety, but they failed to ship it on the promised day. After I sent emails to follow up on the order—which was my right—I was banned by IXS.
They finally sent the correct product, but now I am apparently not allowed to shop with them again. Just so you know, you can get banned for simply asking for the product you paid for.

Would not recommend

Would not recommend. Bought some IXS carve evo+ kneepads, used them for around 9 months and despite never falling on them one of the pads developed a crack so when you bent your knee the kneecap had no protection. Sent them back to supplier who sent them back to IXS. IXS said it was just normal wear and tear despite not even lasting a year so could not get a refund. Products are clearly not made to last

Never again!

Never again!
Ordered an Ixs trigger ff mips helmet on 2nd November, ordered via ixs.com, unfortunately then it was passed on bike-mailorder.de. Completely wrong colour helmet sent, paid around £250 and was sent a seal vomit colour (grey camo) instead of what I ordered. Could have got the horrible colour for £125 from a uk company. Upon asking to return, I was sent a postage label which was supposed to give free postage, but didn't. After messaging back and forth, I was given contact for postage from Ireland, where I don't live. In the end I stumped up the £37 to send the thing back. Currently 17 days later and they are saying they haven't received it - convenient that. So as things stand, I'm presently the original £250 plus another £37 down, with no sign of a refund. Also paid out another £250 to buy elsewhere. Absolutely disgusted by the whole thing, especially as it was their fault in the first place. Not like camo grey and taupe are anything like the same colour either! On a side note, I ended up buying a Smith mainline from Leisure Lakes bikes in the UK and they've been spot on, arrived within a few days and correct item.
