Almost no customer service plus latency issues

Purchased an iZotope Essentials Bundle on sale through Plugin Boutique (PB is a GREAT company - and responsive). Install glitchy but got it done. Also hadn't seen so many ghost Command Prompt windows flash past on my Admin screen. Troubling. As many have said, don't expect a reply through your customer service portal. I've actually never gotten one except for a single "boilerplate" acknowledgement that they received my request. That's been it. Plugin Boutique, however, did help me out. Promptly and to my satisfaction. Last thing: I have to bypass Ozone 10 Essential and sometimes Neutron Essentials due to them introducing so much latency if I have to add a thing or two to a projects tracks. And I'm using a reasonable machine (Xeon E5-1650v2, SSD, 32G ram, GTX1050i 4G vid)

NEGATIVE 5 Stars. Horrible Company(s).

If I could give a NEGATIVE 5 star review for iZotope inc I would. My experience mirrors many others here. Customer support is virtually non existent. It takes them 6/7 days to reply to an email, and when they do they are the opposite to helpful or customer friendly.

They DON'T DO:
* Software that works
* Customer Support
* Refunds

RX 10 Elements didn't work and they refused my refund saying they don't give refunds. I had to go to the effort of filing a charge back with my bank. This is pending.

They don't seem to even handle the customer support / after sales service, they outsource to 'DigitalRiver.com'. Alex L from DigitalRiver.com is a good fit for the company culture - all kinds of useless.

From what I can see this company "iZotope Inc" and by extension "DigitalRiver.com" amount to a SCAM. Avoid them both like the plague.

I think it is a good soft-wear but they…

I think it is a good soft-wear but they are now acting like a big corporation that only is interested in our $ bill. I called for tech support and for the last 3 days and no one is responding. "the person you are calling is in a meeting" meaning they don't care us???"

Is iZotope a scam? YES.

I purchased iZotope MPS on the strength of their ads. It has been 10 months now, and I have yet to actually see the software on my studio computer, nor can I get a single person to respond or to answer calls (message always says they "in meetings"). I gather they are aware of this since there appears to be a concerted effort not to provide any support whatsoever. I am willing to participate in a class-action lawsuit. It's a scam company that enjoys our money with apparent impunity.

Horrible experience, worthless support!

Horrible support! More than three days passed, and they did not answer my emails. I am even a yearly member of their Music Production Suite Pro, which should have priority support (as advertised). But all my concerns have not been answered. This is the worst customer support I have ever experienced in my life.

I purchased RX 10

I purchased RX 10. I haven't been able to use it. It says it's downloaded however it isn't. There isn't no software once downloaded. Me jumping into the sound business I was hoping to trust this company. I'm afraid that I won't get my money back, I'm pissed and will tell everyone I know looking for an audio platform.

techtonic response times

completely shoddy haphazard customer service, responding a week later, which is like the equivalent to 20 years when youre working with digital technology. i'm not waiting on you to ship me a new part for a tractor, it's sorting out a licensing issue on YOUR END =

I dig their software, BUT

I dig their software. I use it to mix and to master. I HATE that they did away with stand alone ozone in ozone 10. Now I have to use my Daw for mastering. That stinks. But I could live with it. Why 2 stars? Because after 3 days of crashing after installing the new software upgrade, I still am yet to even get a human response. That’s unacceptable to me. I’m working a project and have to disable much of izotope plugins to keep my Daw running. This is the only crashing issue I’ve ever had in my DAW and it’s been relentless! I may have figured out some of the issues myself but I feel like an orphan here. I mean at least give help within 24 hours. That’s reasonable. 3 days and counting is not reasonable.

This is how customer service should be

I have had a very good experience with the support. RX 9 did not want to start anymore. It was probably a problem in the registry. With a remote session, the problem was solved within three days. Many thanks to Lars

Like others said: Horrible support

Like others said: Zero customer service, no response to "tickets" in any timely manner (read, several days). Their "Webshop" constantly changes prices in the cart while you are trying to check out, you NEVER get the ACTUAL final price displayed. They don't care for European laws (showing correct end prices including VAT), they don't care about bugs on their website, they don't care about bugs in their software (no response to inquiries during "trial phases").
In the end, even if the software works to some extent, having to deal with an American version of Native Instruments - ZERO support, arrogance to the extreme and overpriced software from 30 years ago - just isn't worth it.

Absolute joke

Some of the izotope products are decent. So I just bought breaktweaker because it was on their website with no mention that it was an old plugin that hasn't had any of the issues addressed since 2014. This is mind-blowing. At least call it "legacy discontinued". I had to find an old sound on sound article to get any answers. When I went onto the support chat, the guy said he didn't know of any updates, so I asked if it was discontinued and he said "not that I'm aware", which is nonsense, given that I now know that my issues haven't been dealt with for 7 years. So I then went on the forums to find out that everyone is saying exactly the same and calling it "abandonware", which is correct. At this point, this is borderline fraud and I'm so disappointed in a company I previously liked. All trust has gone now and I won't be buying Izotope ever again.

Horrendous customer service

Horrendous customer service. Absolutely abysmal. Their answer to my request is to pass my emails around to every CSR available at least once instead of just granting the refund they are obliged to give (under EU law). Utterly childish behaviour from this company. Would not recommend anyone deal with them.

£400 Down the Drain

I bought a Spire, hardware equipment. Think twice think thrice before you buy this. It developed a update fault, I got to use it twice, it was sitting safely boxed on a shelf while I was a new mum on maternity. Now out of warranty and the mic inputs do not register sound. Nothing they can do they offered a soft reset and a hard reset then nothing could be done. Very unhappy customer. Rubbish!

Extremely clunky and buggy software

Extremely clunky and buggy software, very little in the way of flexibility, and the AI is a huge disappointment. Many features do not work as described. Sounds honestly pretty bad too, things gets washy very quickly, lose a lot of clarity. Customer support has been useless so far.
Also, the GUI doesn't work, even tho my computer is up to date and not struggling at all.
