I have not yet got to using this on my Airfix 1/48 walrus (my first attempt at rigging a bi-plane) however, the stretch in this product is think will make this much easier than using common thread.

The elastic thread is a suitable material in modeling to make any type of ultrarealistic bracing in airplanes, boats, antenna fastening, Sci-fi, dioramas, etc. Elasticity allows for easy installation and a natural fit tight. It can be glued with cyanoacrylate, handled with tweezers. The excess may be cut with a sharp blade. Once placed it can be easily painted with an ink marker or silver paint if desired. It is provided as a practical spool and is 20m long. SUITABLE FOR 1/35 – 1/32 – 1/48 RIGGING. Thickness: 110D (+/- 0,055 mm)
