My bracelet broke and has been sent in for repair. There has been no communication on the repair or a time frame on when to expect it back. The bracelet was nice but fragile. It would be nice to hear about the process and what is being done. This should be a 1 star until I get the bracelet back.

Beware of James Allen, two diamonds fell out after two months, we sent it back for repairs. They did repair it but within the first week two more diamonds fell out. They will only fix it once. They did warn us they would only replace diamonds once. They may have some rings that will last but anything with multiple small diamonds, I’d just stay clear of. Awful craftsmanship.

I needed a 1 carat wedding band for my wife to be, but was short on time. A jeweler has to make the ring after you order it and it takes a few weeks. I communicated that I needed it rushed and they went out of their way to make it happen for me. The price was great, the quality was great and the customer service was excellent and personal. 100% recommend James Allen for your jewelry purchases.

Terrible experience, it's been a month I still not have my ring, it was an anniversary gift but now probably becoming a Christmas gift, their customer service was awful, they just brushed you off and won't even care to respond your email, beware everyone!

Customer service from James Allen was very good as was their product. However they were severely let down by UPS whom they use to ship to the UK. I had to return a ring for resizing but was charged VAT again on the full cost of my own ring when it was returned to me.
It has been near impossible to resolve the issue with UPS. I am directed via their automated service to staff who sometimes speak poor English, the telephone lines are terrible, crackly and usually have long delays which further hinders the conversation. They are uninterested, unhelpful and I have been passed from person to person and placed on hold for long periods of time. Furthermore they will not provide you with the name of a supervisor or manager so they remain faceless and unaccountable for their very shoddy customer service. James Allen, I'm really sorry but UPS have let us both down and I've had to take more time out of my busy day to do this. They have no offices where I can speak to a person face to face and no UK based customer services. So angry!

Both my wife and I had to return our rings to be resized. Although we were told multiple times that there would be no charge for the return and that we would be reimbursed for the duties and shipping on the second shipment, we were never reimbursed. As a result, the rings ended up costing much more than the original purchase price.
We spent hours speaking with James Allen customer service, the Canadian government, and UPS, only to discover that we would not be reimbursed. James Allen misled us regarding the duties reimbursement on several occasions.
Canadians — if you are reading this, please do not do business with this company. I will be submitting an official complaint to the BBB (of which there are already many), as well as to UPS and the Canadian government. What a terrible experience during what was supposed to be one of the happiest times of our lives.
James Allen engages in deceitful and unprofessional business practices.
