Had an incredible 2 days on the intermediate course with Tim. Thoroughly enjoyable and incredibly insightful and after my first 9 holes (didn't have time for 18) I am already seeing improvements to my score.

I gained a genuine understanding of the swing and how to improve, the analysis and feedback from Tim was insightful and easy to understand. I feel I have walked away with the tools to continue to improve in both technique and consistency.

Just attended the 2 day intermediate course, I'm so happy with the progress I have made during the 2 days.

Just completed 2 day intermediate course with the boss man.l have read all previous reviews and agree with how good tuition is and delicated staff wish to improve your game.l'm a 80 year old golfer had many lessons and now thanks to Andrew now understand correct golf swing.l cannot wait to get out on the course if the rain relents ,to put my new swing into use. The bottom line being previous lessons just tinkering quick one day fixes,l now have something to work on thank you Andrew.

I have just completed 2 days on the intermediate course coached by Tim Kelleher. What a great couple of days. I learnt so much about what I am trying to do and left with a solid understanding as opposed "pieces" of information. Tim kept it very practical and for the first time I am leaving a golf tuition experience with high confidence that I can execute. Thoroughly enjoyed the couple of days at Stoke by Nayland Resort and can highly recommend the Sunday roast and wine list at the nearby Crown Inn!

I enlisted on the 2 day intermediate course and was not disappointed. From the initial chat about what I wanted to gain from the coaching till the very last practice putt, Joe, our trainer, was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, encouraging and patient.
We covered all aspects, from fundamentals of a solid swing, warm up routines, chipping and pitching, sand shots and putting. The 4 hours of tuition flew by on both mornings but the techniques shown and practiced paid dividends on the afternoon rounds on the course (Constable).
All in all, fantastic value for money. I am looking forward to returning for more lessons next year.

I have just had 3 amazing days with Tim in the intermediate group at the James Andrews golf school. I was fortunate enough to have one to one tuition for 4 1/2 hours each morning, but the maximum group size is only 4. I then played 2 different beautiful 18 hole courses in the afternoons. The tuition is very comprehensive, They quickly see where we can develop and explain the possible changes very clearly with plenty of time to practice. Each part of my swing was evaluated and discussed. I also had pitching, chipping, putting and bunker practice as well as going on the course for 2 hours. The guys who were in the advanced group also reported greatly valuing the training. Staying in the hotel and socialising with the rest of the attendees also contributed to the overall enjoyment of the 3 days.

If you’re open to change, the James Andrews facilities, methodology and course structure really works. After 3 days of advance instruction, I can’t praise Joe Queen and his ability to explain to each of us what we each need to work on. It might be a 3 person group lesson but the course focuses on each person’s individual needs. I will be back to fine tune further.

Back in July I did the two day intermediate course with Tim and it was an absolute game changer for my confidence and my swing! Having an actionable plan to takeaway has enabled me to keep up consistency and momentum. The whole weekend was brilliant and I'm already thinking about when to book in for the next one!

Joe was a great support: insightful and his diagnoses/recommendations were easy to understand (and worked!). He was encouraging throughout the three days and has helped my game in a profound way.

This is the best learning experience I’ve had over 40 odd years of playing golf. I took a 2 day course and the format really works. Enough time to go deep and address multiple areas without the danger of overload. And the opportunity to play and practice a bit before returning the next day for consolidation and extension, was extremely valuable.
But what really made the difference was the quality of the teaching. Joe has an excellent ability to analyse a swing and identify the improvements needed. He also has the wisdom to know what will work best for different individuals and the energy and enthusiasm to keep things interesting and engaging throughout.
The Trackman video capture with commentary is a really useful. Providing a reference to work through after the course is finished.
I would heartily recommend this course to any level of golfer. For me I think it has helped me make the breakthrough on my quest for single figures.

I spent 3 days at the James Andrews Golf School this month. Did not know what to expect as I have never been to this type of thing before. It was a fantastic experience. Real golf pros with real golf knowledge who took time to understand your game, and then improve it. Very down to earth instructors who are passionate about golf. No hard sell. Just golf focussed. Follow up with videos through trackman is amazing too. Great to look back at the swing and shots you played when you got there, and how much things have improved when you leave the place. First thing’s first - my golf has improved SIGNIFICANTLY since I attended this course and I am very glad that I attended. The facilities are very good and the hotel and golf course were all as you would expect from a golf resort. Tim was our teacher and the small size of the group (4 of us) ensured that he could spend a good amount of time getting to know us. There was a good intro session for us to give an overview of our golfing levels and what we wanted to achieve, before moving to a video analysis of each of our iron swings. This was good and interesting but seemed to take a long time before we finally started hitting balls. The swing system that was taught was alien to us all and it took quite a lot of persuading for us to believe that it would work BUT I personally have found that my swing has improved a LOT as a result. I am now hitting all of my shots more confidently, accurately and more consistently. My handicap is back to a level i am pleased with and I am expecting it to continue to drop in the coming months.
I do think that the course was a little pricey for what we got, though - Around 8 hours of group tuition, one night in the hotel and 2 rounds of golf for £400 seems a bit much. If you can afford it, however, I do think it will pay dividends (as long as you are willing to be patient and commit to their method).

My wife & I attended the James Andrew Golf school this month (June 2023) to improve our overall golf game (Stoke By Nayland Resort)
We stayed 2 nights and had tuition from 8.00am until 1.00 pm on both days with a round of golf on each course from 2.00pm to practice our new skills.
Our PGA coach was Joe Queen and he was brilliant - he was a confident and capable communicator & had the state of the art equipment (trackman) set up in a private booth and showed us the mechanics of all aspects of golf with video feedback and live demos tailored exclusively for us as individuals - I must say, after our session, our golf has improved no end due to the excellent one-to-one tuition and positive changes made - we were able to come away with videos and practice notes after the sessions too - I have no hesitation in recommending the golf school as it really does work and is fantastic value for money - the resort is magnificent too. Book now, you won't be disappointed!

Tim was a golfing scholar and a gent. He looked after both myself and my wife extremely well despite us having differing experience levels. I came away with a few fantatstic tips that wil make my swing much more consistent once I practice in the range. Tim was very patient with my wife and taught her the swing fundamentals as well as course management. We really enjoyed our weekend course and would recommend the school to anyone looking to improve their game and have a fun weekend.

My experience with the James Andrews Golf School was genuinely excellent. My husband and I attended a two-day beginners course, delivered with patience and in a professional but enjoyable manner by Tim Kelleher. The course was well-structured and intensive. The Trackman videos were very useful in developing the technique, and the materials we received following the course - videos, checkpoints and manuals will allow us to practice what we've been taught. Neither my husband nor I had any experience with golf before attending the course, and a few days after, we were already researching memberships in the local club and ordering the equipment.
I recommend James Andrews Golf School to anyone who wants to learn about golf or improve their game.
