Knee pain at James Ross healthcare Bristol

Just before the easter Break I injured my knee and could not walk without limping . Because it was Easter I was desperately looking for a physio to alleviate my pain. I contacted James Ross healthcare at my gym Avon Workout The only person available at short notice after the Easter Break was a physio ( he knows who he is) whom I saw not once but 4 times( 7/8/9/10 April 2026) .. After 4 sessions (i privately paid for) he still could not assess or identify where my pain was coming from ( He said so himself) . He was struggling with any prognosis so much so that he asked another physiotherapist to come and have a look at my knee ( on my third visit to the clinic). He also suggested that i might need a scan which indicated to me that he was out of his depth . In a follow up email he told me that him and JR identified the pain as coming from the hamstring . That is a lie . He did not know when I came to see him on the 7 April and did not know after my 4 visit ( on the 10 April) . He was just speculating. If he had known he would have given me a follow up program for hamstring . He did not. So after 4 visits and no relief for my knee pain i had to go and see a proper care practitioner. I wont be using James Ross healthcare again and wont be recommending them. Oddly enough although every one else highlights how long for they have been a physio therapist the one i saw in April does not . Someone told me as he did not know where my pain was coming from may be he did more harm than good. He did offer a fifth session to aid my recovery as a gesture of good will. He was unable to do anything in 4 sessions .By then I had completely lost confidence in his ability let alone his ability to fix my problem . One thing he did get correctly is that I probably would need a scan and 4 months' down the line I am on the wating list for and MRI.
