Perfect for taking your running to the next level

I started working with James shortly after my second marathon, which frankly was a disappointment. With a busy job and a young family, I needed help as to how I could improve my running without materially increasing the time I could dedicate to exercise. To add to the challenge, I also wanted to move from just running to triathlons. 9 months later, I have reduced my marathon PB by 25 minutes and completed a half ironman, neither of which would have been possible without James. His methodical, detailed and patient approach to all aspects of racing made a real difference and allowed me to simply focus on that day’s agreed exercise. I recommend James to anyone looking to take their running or triathlon to the next level.

Helping me become an Ironman

James has now done a few training plans for me but the main one was helping me become an Ironman. I couldn't swim and my furthest run was was 5k. James' plan was really simple to follow and he adapted it to suit my busy schedule. Thank you James for all your help. I'd highly recommend him to anyone who needs that extra bit of help to achieve their goals.

Highly recommend James

I signed up for the Brighton Marathon and came to James to help me get over the finishing line. I had 5 months to get in shape with James' help we managed to smash my 4 hour 30 mins target by over 30 minutes.

With little fitness and no prior running experience, James was excellent with my planning, preparation and nutrition.

I would strongly recommend him to anyone looking to achieve their goals for any endurance events.

Great Coach!

I was recommended to James by a colleague to help me complete a full Ironman.

From the outset, he took a genuine interest to understand the goals and built a tailored, workable plan to me.

With regular check-ins to understand how the training is going, he modified it in line with my everyday commitments.

James advised not only on the physical requirement but also the psychological and nutrition elements too.

With such a high level of credibility having ‘been there and done that’ it was reassuring the guidance came from personal knowledge and experience.

I can’t recommend James highly enough as a coach. I feel he took a genuine interest in my goals and built a plan that allowed me to achieve something I thought was unobtainable.

5 starts are not enough!!!!

I had the opportunity to work with James for almost a year. We worked together to prepare for marathon and ultramarathon races.
James is truly an amazing coach and a very inspirational person. I learnt so much in terms of race preparation, race strategy, recovery, mental and physical strength.
Working with James is highly recommended!!!
