Jamie Harrison Guitar Reviews 

I'm already enrolled since 2020 with Jamie Harrison guitar courses. I have the everything bundle (all the courses are just mind-blowing), I have the JHG Method which is magnificent (this is almost a lifetime project, there is everything you need to know of every little aspects, secrets, tips and tricks on the guitar). Now just got myself the JHG Rig and again it's wonderful. If you're looking for Jamie's secret tone that's the way to go :) Responsiveness, friendliness are beyond expectations. Best purchase ever! :)

I bought the "Sultans of Swing" course, because I wanted to improve my finger-style playing, and because I think it's a great song. This is my second course from Jamie, and again, it's great!

He shows into great detail how he approaches the song and how the finger picking is done. There is a clear breakdown of the loops and how it was recorded. It works great with a looper, but also without it still sounds impressive.

The first course made me a better player, now the second course has taught me even more.

Besides just the song, there's loads of tricks on the way you can use in everyday playing.

Very much enjoying the course, and I would recommend it to anyone in an eyewink.

Great lessons, learned quite a few songs I have been struggling with before. Well worth it, and I am planning on purchasing quite a few more of the songs!

Great courses, plays the songs perfectly. Basic class, music theory, etc. courses all great too. Highly recommend.

The content and lessons were excellent, including explanations on the details and nuances about the songs. I also appreciated the section on tone and gear. Strongly recommend for those wanting to take their guitar playing to the next level, especially if you are an intermediate player like myself.

The wise man does not accumulate. The more he helps others, the more he benefits himself. The more he gives to others, the more he gets for himself. This is what Jamie does, thanks for share.

I discovered Jamie's courses through his YouTube covers. He is probably the best at capturing the essence of the players he does covers from. So I decided to try out one of his courses.

There's a lot you can get from songs by these artists. The way the lessons are given you help do it more easily. They are very detailed including dynamics, the underlying harmony and others, so you can incorporate it into your own playing.

The lessons are also explained at a pace where it can be a follow along lesson, if your current skill level allows you to. Haven't been able to play for a while and finish a song yet, but was very pleased with the experience.

I wanted to learn a different way of playing guitar that would stretch my abilities. Jaime provides great value and is responsive to customer needs. His videos are broken down into close detail. He is a great teacher.
I can't emulate Jaime but I can use what he teaches and hear the improvemnt in my playing.
If you can stretch to the full package it will be great value, but at the pace I learn, just buying two or three courses will work fine too.

Very detailed precise courses

Very detailed precise courses. You will learn how to play like Hendrix, Mayer and co.

I've purchased three of Jamie's courses. Sultans of Swing, Slow Dancing, and Gravity. They're actually the first guitar courses I've ever bought. I'm in my 60's and have been playing guitar all my life, but seeing Jamie's covers of these songs (and others) really impressed and inspired me, so I gave it a shot. I couldn't be happier. Jamie's just a regular down to earth guy who has worked to become a great guitar player and has a knack for teaching. His courses have been exactly as described, and more than worth the cost. They make me stretch my abilities, and sometimes I have to go over a particular lesson more than once, but that's because of my limitations, not his. I highly recommend his courses.

Fantastic player and teacher and all round decent bloke. Responds to questions and comes across very authentic. Lessons feel very personal and he's a great speaker, some things are unconventional in terms of his explanation, but in a way that I found more helpful. It was like coming at learning the piece from a different angle, which I've since applied to other areas of my playing and have seen tangible improvement.

Jamie's performance videos inspired me to go from a fireside acoustic noodler to a dedicated electric player with a passion for the instrument, nailing his versions and knowing what he's doing to shred the way he does feels epic.

Best bit... courses aren't even expensive. Packages are great deals, but personally I buy the song I decide is next on the list. By the time I'm done I'm ready skills wise, and financially to dive into the next. Works a treat. Frankly if there was a 'tip your teacher' feature at the end of each of them, Jamie would probably double his money.

Jamie's courses have been simply excellent. I like the ability to do the phrases individually and slowly. Interestingly, playing them very slowly has really helped my timing and fluidity - really letting the beat drive my playing instead of just getting out the notes. I have incorporated this into my general practicing.

I have been playing for over 20 years, and there aren't a lot of lessons out there I would purchase on-line. This is clearly one of them. Well worth the price an more not only to learn a few songs, but to hear how someone else interprets them can help break you out of a stylistic rut and take a different approach.

I will be back for more!

Jamie is a great teacher and has allowed me to get further on the guitar than I ever dreamed! I love his courses and find them super understandable and easy to follow. I reached out Jamie via email and he personally replied and provided a genuine answer to my questions. I would highly recommend for guitarist of any level!

I was a little hesitant to buy, but the course is legitimately worth buying. Compared to paying for private lessons you learn multiple multiple hours worth of coaching from the course, and you can complete it in your own time!
