I asked for a Japanese-themed birthday cake for my son to celebrate our recent trip to Japan, and what Cheryl created completely exceeded all expectations.
From the very first message, Cheryl was an absolute dream to deal with – warm, professional, and full of enthusiasm. She listened so carefully to what we wanted, offered fantastic ideas of her own, and genuinely cared about bringing the vision to life. It felt like a real collaboration, and her creativity truly shone through.
The final cake was nothing short of a masterpiece – a stunning edible tribute to Japan. It featured a beautifully hand-crafted Mount Fuji, delicate cherry blossom, graceful koi carp, and the pièce de résistance: a Torii gate dominating the top. Every detail was executed with such skill and love – it almost felt too beautiful to eat (though we definitely did, and it was absolutely delicious!).
Thank you Cheryl for making such a memorable centrepiece for my son’s birthday – you are a true artist, and I’m already dreaming up excuses for the next cake! 🍰🎌🌸🐟⛩️
