Paul Harrison did our conveyancing. He is very experienced and knowledgeable and a specialist in his area of law. Very friendly, explains legal processes simply and answers queries promptly. Would highly recommend his service.
We had an awful experience with this company. We didn’t directly employ them but they represented the sellers of the house we purchased.
Their attitude towards customer care was the hardest part. They were hard to get hold of, get replies from, they didn’t take into account accessibility, they were not proactive problem solvers.
Their responses / actions in the process caused significant delays and had no gain for either the seller or buyer, instead kept everything at a standstill.
We found the process incredibly stressful and the majority of that stress was due to them.
Great service, can’t fault them.

I have had the pleasure of dealing with both Lilli Grigg (wills) and Paul Harrison (conveyancing). Lilli's expertise and knowledge on complex matters were invaluable in ensuring mine and my husbands wills are 'water tight' and Paul we have dealt with on two occasions both for purchasing and re-mortgaging, both times of which have been excellent and Paul's knowledge is second to none in the conveyancing world, especially on complex matters. The team at Jane Brooks including their assistants and reception staff have also been very helpful when dealing with.
Highly recommend Paul Harrison, Nicky Clark and the team at Jane Brooks Law. They dealt with a complicated property transaction incredibly well and when things went wrong following an issue with our buyer they rectified matters with speed and professionalism.
I’ve had lots of terrible experiences with Jane Brooks. No attention to detail and susceptible to mistakes. You’ll be busy checking their work if you go with them ensuring they’re doing their jobs correctly. Avoid.

Communication was soo poor, I had to ring them a million times and most times they were busy and I had to call again and again. If you send an email, you will get a response after a week if you are lucky. They tend to evade responsibility and procrastinate works as much as they can and they say they are busy but why do they accept new customers then?
Worst solicitors ever, all they keep saying is we are chasing up your client, no advise no information, 6 good months and our sellers finally pulled out, how can you not know a seller would pull out after 6 months, no form of advise, no form of help, no form of doing their jobs at all, they just take your money and waste your time, when someone pulls out you have to repay them if you find another house. They do not care about their customers, I honestly wish I read this reviews before we came to them. They also lost documents. Stay away from them. Some of them on the call even sound very nonchalant and not willing to work

We found we worked with them easily and they always replied quickly to our queries. Very efficient. I feel if you work with your conveyancer and maintain polite and frequent contact; you help them and you to minimise any shocks along the way! Anyway we are super happy with thia legal firm and will use again!

Please avoid this company. I wish I read the reviews before proceeding with this company for my house conveyance. They don't acknowledge emails, asking for irrelevant documents and generally slow with the process.

On multiple occasions Jane Brooks Law have had breaches in security when it comes to the handling of personal and financial data, they have lost bank statements sent to them, sent cheques intended for other clients to myself, as well as sending purchase and sale completion paperwork to the wrong address. Failure to give satisfactory responses to why these breaches have occurred. Company has an extremely lax attitude to data protection would not recommend even if these breaches had not taken place. They are slow to respond to correspondence and constantly need chasing to get progress reports. Do not waste your time or money with this company.

We have been scammed also out of a massive deposit of a house. Jane Brooks Law are a disgrace and the staff appear to have no level of understanding or empathy and are incredibly unprofessional, especially Jackie from Hedon branch, please never use these.
Disgraceful, security lvery heavily lacking allowing a young couple to be duped out of a massive deposit by scammers posing as yourselves, you should help that couple out towards their deposit they lost and redeem your reputation at the same time, the right thing to do

This company has had a security breach and email accounts hacked… which has resulted in clients losing tens of thousands of pounds.
Their level of service during and post their negligence is disgraceful.
My personal recommendation is they are avoided at all cost and in my opinion the display zero duty of care to clients
