I would be very careful with this…

I would be very careful with this company. They cancelled my order stationg it was by my request after 5 days. Then stated that they would refund... as yet no refund.

Think it's a con company selling fake…

Think it's a con company selling fake Japanese knives. The one I ordered is damaged, the wrong style and genuinely think its a fake. Will initiate and escalate things through my bank.

Never received my knives and they don’t…

Never received my knives and they don’t answer mails or through their contact formular.

Ordered two knives. Have initiated a process through my bank to get my money back.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused.
In this case, the shipment did not reach the destination and we were unable to obtain a clear delivery confirmation from the carrier at that time.

As a result, the matter was resolved by issuing a refund rather than reshipping the items.
We also regret that our communication during this process was not sufficient and understand how frustrating this must have been.

Since then, we have been reviewing both our shipping and customer support procedures to prevent similar situations in the future.

When I received the knife I discovered…

When I received the knife I discovered that the blade didn’t fit properly into the handle and that the wooden handle itself was cracked. After contacting The Japan Knife Shop company several times and being ignored I have ended up with a poor quality knife, no answer, no exchange, no refund … terrible experience.. will never order anything from Japan Knife Shop company again.
