I received my order with three broken bowls. Of course, they don't reply to my emails now. NEVER ORDER FROM THEM !!!

Absolute Scam - don't bother
I ordered some ramen bowls back in December 2024, I have received one email advising the order is being processed and no other communication. I have emailed them on multiple occasions and had no response back.. it is just a scam website!

Non existent customer service. Ordered in the last week of December as a gift for someone and still haven’t received it. No response to emails, no tracking number shared. No contact number on website. Pathetic.

I bought the Tsukuda Ceramic Ramen Bowl and it's quickly become my favorite kitchen item. The bowl is gorgeous with its detailed design and super practical. It's the perfect size for a big bowl of ramen, and the ceramic keeps the food nice and warm. I've even used it for salads and other dishes. The quality is excellent and it feels really sturdy. This bowl has definitely made my meals more enjoyable!

I ordered a few items to upgrade my kitchen, and the quality is impressive. The teacups are perfect for my daily green tea ritual, and the chopsticks are beautifully crafted.

I am absolutely in love with my new ceramic bowls. The craftsmanship is exquisite, and they add a unique touch to my dinner table.

I ordered the Aozora Japanese Ceramic Plate set and am thoroughly pleased with my purchase. These plates have a beautiful, vibrant blue design that adds a stunning visual element to my dining table. The quality is excellent, and they feel durable enough to last for years. My only minor gripe is that the shipping took slightly longer than expected, but it was well worth the wait. The packaging was secure, and the plates arrived in perfect condition. Overall, a great addition to my tableware collection!

I was looking for authentic decor to enhance my yoga studio, and Japan at Home had everything I needed. I purchased several items, including a poster featuring a beautiful Mount Fuji scene, and various small decorations. Everything was carefully packaged and arrived in excellent condition. My clients have noticed and appreciated the new decor, and it has truly transformed the atmosphere of the studio. Exceptional products and service!

I wish I had read the reviews before ordering like I normally do. They did refund me within the stipulated time (after a few reminders) so I won't give them a 1 star.

They sent me the wrong items but that's not the main issue - the items they did send were low quality. I could immediately tell that what I held in my hand was not high quality Japanese pottery, but cheap product manufactured in China. However, the style of the website and the price would make you believe otherwise. The mark-up must be something like 4-5 times higher than what's normal in the industry, and this shop doesn't have a physical shop or carry any inventory since the goods get shipped from a warehouse in China.

Highly questionable business practice to put it politely.

A good shopping experience. Every ramen bowl I bought was of outstanding quality. Everything arrived in perfect condition.

Products take ages to be delivered. Shipping from China, obviously cheap overpriced stuff. Has nothing to do with Japan. No costumer support, no information about my wish to return the items. Multiple emails unanswered.

Site is a scam site. They have not sent the item, no information or communication after multiple emails, and the product delivery status is just "in UK" and has been for a month.

Do not use this website, it is a scam.

Wish I had read the other reviews on here before ordering. Ordered two Ramen bowls which were shipped from China. Arrived within 2 weeks. Very poor quality and had clearly not been quality checked prior to dispatch. One bowl was split but had been fired and glazed over. Numerous emails now sent to the customer care email address including photos but no response. Clearly they don't care. Don't use this company.

Fantastic bowls (Chitako). Perfect for rice or noodle meals. A beautiful colour and well made. Awesome! 👌🏻

I have ordered multiple ramen bowls from Japan at Home and the quality of the products is great, the delivery is quick, with really good packaging to keep items safe. Would definitely order again in the future.

As a huge tea enthusiast, I absolutely do not regret the purchase of this tea set. I find it absolutely perfect and very practical. The moments spent sipping tea while appreciating the beauty of these pieces have become moments of serenity in my daily life. This purchase has truly added a touch of refinement to my days, and I can't help but recommend it to all tea lovers.

I bought some bowls from the japanathome store and I’m more than satisfied. I also got some very nice chopsticks as a gift for my first order. I highly recommend this store if you’re a fan of Japanese tableware.

I sooooo wish I’d looked at Trustpilot before ordering!!!!!
I ordered very expensive dinnerware on 26 august. At 8 sept these haven’t arrived and the company are not communicating.
Obviously if they address the issue I’ll update my review.

Picked up Ramen Bowls and a sushi plate from Japan at Home. Arrived on schedule and the quality was better than expected—felt like I was dining in a Japanese restaurant. Quick response from customer service on a query. Will buy again, no doubt.

I ordered a “natural bamboo tea tray.” It took a while to arrive (it shipped from China, confirming the items are not actually from Japan).

When it came eventually, it was not natural bamboo, but completely different than the images. (Dark FAKE wood, not natural, and a completely different color).

I emailed them with pictures asking to advise. Automatic message said they aim to respond in 24-48 hours and it’s been 9 business days with no response.

Be wary of their fancy website - They obviously don’t have their supply chain or QA locked down.
