I bought a hori hori knife which I love, but I paid £10 extra for laser marking. The laser marking is already wearing off and it's been used a handful of times. The company have ignored two emails from me to chase it up now. Rude. Do not pay for lasering, total waste of money and they just ignore you. I won't buy from this company again simply because they ignore attempts to contact them. If they reply to this and try to make amends, great, but they will only have done so because I've made my complaint public.

I have had one email today after I posted this yesterday, but no one has phoned me as claimed below, nor did anyone leave me a voice Mail message.
I accept that they have now reached out since I left the review and I look forward to receiving the refund for the cost of the lasering on the blade.

I love the Japeto Hori Hori that I bought. It seems well made & so far I am pleased with it. However, they completely let themselves down with delivery, if it can be called that, since it wasn't delivered at all & absent customer service. I had to drive over 10 miles round trip to collect it from some random shop in a housing estate in a neighbouring town, there wasn't even an attempt to deliver, despite paying £7 which is a bit steep for such a small package but what really grated was the total lack of response by Japeto to my complaint, completely ghosted & seemed frankly rude & I won't be buying anything else from them & wouldn't recommend them to anyone else who can't spare 2 hours waiting for a non existent delivery & then another hour the following day to fetch it. If I had to rely on public transport I wouldn't have been able to get it at all.

Two pairs of secateurs in 6 months, both lost their springs! First replace as "good will", although I failed to see how a faulty product is 'good will'. Japeto told me that this fault is rare but clearly noT!

I bought a pair of secateurs last year which have been good but just out of guarantee the spring fell out and was lost. As they were so expensive I expected to be able to buy a replacement spring only to be told that they do not sell them ! A total waste of money as for nearly £40 I expected better longevity and service what a disappointment.

I have used this company several times and each time the items have been delivered quickly, as described and well packaged. Very helpful customer service.

What a great company with outstanding customer service. I called with a enquiry regarding a par of secateurs which was missing a V spring. I asked if they sold spares, which they don’t seem to. I spoke with a lovely lady called Jessica who was so helpful. She was kind enough to send me a replacement pair. I can’t rate this company and the fantastic service let alone the amazing gardening tools and can’t recommend there tools enough. A massive thank you

I've owned a hori hori knife for over a year and found it to be excellent quality. Such has been my experience that I ordered two more as presentation pieces, complete with engraving. They arrived speedily, but there was a flaw in the engraving on one. Japeto swiftly resolved the problem, with a newly engraved knife arriving two days later. Excellent service.

My wife bought me a Hori Hori for Christmas, and it is a fantastically made tool. However, the sheath stitching fell apart quickly, so I emailed Japeto and they sent me a new sheath that day, and included a free rake for the inconvenience.

I bought a hoe and digging fork from Japeto. It was roughly around £22(incl VAT). I was disappointed by the workmanship. It is made of thin steel welded together. I predict that it will not survive long. I wanted to return it but it didn't seem worth the effort as the cost is borne by the buyer.
On a positive note the package arrived the next day inspite of the pandemic mayhem.

Absolutely love the japeto hori hori trowel. Amazing piece of kit to use in the garden and great quality.

The tools were excellent quality. I’ve ordered twice with no issues - the tools arrived quickly (ordered on a weekend, arrived by the Tuesday).

Ordered again because the weeding knife was so good.
