I already have the mid size version of this Pallarès solsona knife and love it, so I ordered the larger version and the oval sharpening stone. Good decision. The knife has great balance and a decent weight to it, chops and slices like a dream. It's also just beautiful. I'm learning to use the sharpening stone but that's very straightforward. I'm a very happy customer.

I bought the 'rest bundle' for a friend and just loved the collection inside. It was a birthday gift but having just had a baby thought this would be perfect to make some of her downtime that little more restful, sweet and all about her. I love Java's eye for detail and packages the bundles together. I left a rather long note to be put in the card so it could be sent direct and helped to make it more personal too. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Java and her beautiful shop to anyone looking for a special gift.
