BEWARE OF JAZZTEL
BEWARE OF JAZZTEL - DO NOT BECOME A CUSTOMER !!!
In 2022 i bought a Jazztel subscription for Internet and television in Spain. When i spoke to the salesperson, she offered a mobile phone number as well, included in the deal - which I declined, since my mobile phone could not provide 2 different sim-cards.
End of April 2025, the router stopped working and I tried to call Jazztel from my Norwegian mobile phone, which turned out to be IMPOSSIBLE.
As a paying customer, I am unable to speak to Jazztel. I have tried by other friends’ Spanish phones, and this does not work either - as Jazztel only receives phone calls from Jazztel’s registered mobile phones !!!??? -
I have sent them some 10 emails, with no result. They keep sending me monthly bills. I have cancelled Jazztel from my bank and returned their bills, - and now they send me threatening mails in order to have me pay!
Furthermore: Not anywhere to be found is my customer contract number! Not in the initial mail of start, or any others claiming payment! AND… in order to find my customer number, I must enter the Jazztel mobile number I have never used…. And now - even that number is refused when I try to admit it by way of contacting them.
In the Jazztel webpage, they claim that routers can be returned to any Orange shop. I took the trip to nearest shopping centre with Orange shop, and they would not accept the router, as I didn’t have a code number, which you can only receive by telephone… and NOTE! The Spanish mobile number Jazztel provided….
The website also claim one may return the router to an address in Madrid, which I finally did.
I have sent messages with note of cancellation, copy with proof of payment to post-office for returning router to their Madrid-office - to several email-addresses listed on their website, including the emails claiming payment - but none of them answering / acknowledging when you try to cancel a subscription…
I have also used their free call system, by admitting a friend’s Spanish number, but they just hang up when I tell them i wish to cancel, and state in very rapid Spanish a special number to call - which I have tried several times without any luck - se mention above regarding their call-system.
CONCLUSION:
Whatever you do - do not ever become a Jazztel customer !!! They will not speak to you and they will NEVER let you go !!!
