Third world company


Third-world company. We’ve been without internet or a phone line since 24 December. The automatic message they give us says there is an incident in the area and that they are working on it, that they can’t tell us when it will be fixed or even give an estimate, and that we shouldn’t contact them because they won’t provide any new information other than telling us to wait until it’s resolved. The first agent told me the service would be restored within 72 hours – working days. It’s now 31 December and they still give us no information. What company leaves you without service for so long right in the middle of Christmas?

BEWARE OF JAZZTEL

BEWARE OF JAZZTEL - DO NOT BECOME A CUSTOMER !!!
In 2022 i bought a Jazztel subscription for Internet and television in Spain. When i spoke to the salesperson, she offered a mobile phone number as well, included in the deal - which I declined, since my mobile phone could not provide 2 different sim-cards.

End of April 2025, the router stopped working and I tried to call Jazztel from my Norwegian mobile phone, which turned out to be IMPOSSIBLE.

As a paying customer, I am unable to speak to Jazztel. I have tried by other friends’ Spanish phones, and this does not work either - as Jazztel only receives phone calls from Jazztel’s registered mobile phones !!!??? -

I have sent them some 10 emails, with no result. They keep sending me monthly bills. I have cancelled Jazztel from my bank and returned their bills, - and now they send me threatening mails in order to have me pay!
Furthermore: Not anywhere to be found is my customer contract number! Not in the initial mail of start, or any others claiming payment! AND… in order to find my customer number, I must enter the Jazztel mobile number I have never used…. And now - even that number is refused when I try to admit it by way of contacting them.

In the Jazztel webpage, they claim that routers can be returned to any Orange shop. I took the trip to nearest shopping centre with Orange shop, and they would not accept the router, as I didn’t have a code number, which you can only receive by telephone… and NOTE! The Spanish mobile number Jazztel provided….

The website also claim one may return the router to an address in Madrid, which I finally did.
I have sent messages with note of cancellation, copy with proof of payment to post-office for returning router to their Madrid-office - to several email-addresses listed on their website, including the emails claiming payment - but none of them answering / acknowledging when you try to cancel a subscription…

I have also used their free call system, by admitting a friend’s Spanish number, but they just hang up when I tell them i wish to cancel, and state in very rapid Spanish a special number to call - which I have tried several times without any luck - se mention above regarding their call-system.

CONCLUSION:
Whatever you do - do not ever become a Jazztel customer !!! They will not speak to you and they will NEVER let you go !!!

Internet went down at 23;00

Internet went down at 23;00, app said fault was being fixed. Went to bed, got up next morning, still off. Went on website and there were no problems!!
Went onto chatbot, asked me for language, then carried on in Spanish. Eventually I got through to a technical bot, put in everything that I had already put in, and after telling me to switch on my router ( do they think everyone is thick??) they then decided that yes, indeed there was a fault, and they would get a technician to resolve it. It came back on at about 10:00.
So, out for 11 hours, off for 22 when Spain lost power, off several times between of 2 to 6 hours and still charging full money for it. There is a number to ring in case of outages, forget it.
My Spanish neighbour tried for me, and she could not understand the garbled message.
So, if you want internet which is good when it's on, but useless when it is not, then be my guest.

I switched from Movistar to Juzztel and…

I switched from Movistar to Juzztel and it was worst decision ever. It's easy to contract but impossible to resolve any issue. You can wait 30-40 minutes to talk to a human. Their employees have no idea what they are doing. From 10 or more person I talked to only 2 of them knew things. And I don't mean technical things, I mean we moved to another place and before contracting we told we are going to move to s place without optical cable, they assured it will be okay. But then turned out, they also not going to send me satellite internet, they just proposed to pay penalisation 150 euro and find another provider. I wasn't using their internet from November and they made me pay until june. Be careful and choose another provider

Terrible service to talk to anyone is…

Terrible service to talk to anyone is impossible until you decide to leave and its calls every 2 minutes. I had unstable connection and even cut my security cameras with 600 of fibre crazy 🤪 worst experience ever and won't cancel contract without 6 phone calls even though you moved to a different company

A YEAR ON AND STILL THIS DISGRACEFULL COMPANY IS STILL TRYING TO CHARGE ME FOR A CONTRACT I ENDED ,I HAVE CONTACTED SPANISH TELECOMS MINISTERY TO OFFICIALLY COMPLAIN ABOUT BUSINESS PRACTISES OF THIS COMPANY THEY NEED TO BE MADE ACCOUNTABLE .DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANT FOR MOBILE PHONES OR INTERNET THEY ARE ROBBERS AND BULLIES.

Warning! Stay away!

Stay away. Be warned.
Their broadband service drops calls every other minute. For example, of you're in a zoom conf. Call. Frozen seconds every other minute. Just annoying.

They charge me extra for a mobile line that I have never used. Spoken numerous times to customer support or service if that's what they call service. Supposedly cancelled that charge and refund last overcharges. They have yet to do that and it has been months now.

Their installer broke part of my wall.

Sigh... I'm normally not a complainer and put up with all kinds of bad service. But this company is the mother of bad service!

Looking for a new service provider. Good luck to myself, unfortunately I live in a beautiful country where decent service is a rarity.

Keep away from them!

Keep away from them!! I’m desperate because they don’t let me get out of a one year contract without them giving me internet because their technicians (who gave me 3 appointments without showing up) keep saying fiber optics is not available in my building even though I know for sure it is and have written proof for it. That’s what I call a scam and I will have to go through a lawyer in order to get out of this.

No one in this country who watches over…

No one in this country who watches over these companies ???
I am forced not to call the article as it deserves for the consequences that it could have to me.
FACTS:
1.- Internet line drops of more than 30 min. daily at different times.
2.- High percentage of customer service involving trying to communicate with a Spanish-speaking operator with great deficiencies in Spanish who you can not understand nor them can understand you and which is located in Colombia, etc.
(Go from here to the maximum respect to the Spanish-speaking community!)
a series of long uninterrupted waitings to the tune of: Simply irresistible .tarará, tarararará..Simply insoportable...Simply I mistook that day.tararara
3.- In my particular case, when I asked for portability, I was left without a line for 1 full day and without internet one morning . (Update till yesterday day in day out)
4.- I receive several txt saying" Call 1565 for your portability" Then you have to tell them the entire story over and over. And so, and so till the day you lose your patient and start a claim.
You go through a process, yes ..no.. dial 1 , dial 5 bla, bla and the only thing you are gonna achieve is having now two differnt sms from them
5.- I receive instructions via SMS not to return the router and when I ask them for confirmation by email on 1565 they told me that I should return it at any store or facing consequences. Obviously, this transpires end in penalizing me months later when it is impossible for me for not finding myself residing here (in Spain).
5 (3) .- They give me a Huawei smart p2020 as a gift on a Monday (as compensation, come on, so it will shut me up) and after 7 days I find out that they never even started on the way to my home.
I called them again.... The Spanish-speaker replies that what I say is impossible "... pero manejaria permanencia, y si no estás de acuerdo le manejo la baja ..." (william)
(Too many "manejos" I would say) Messrs. Jazztel's skinny favor makes you keep your attention on the slopes of Machu-Picchu because the money you save in wages is now paid in cancellations!.
Indeed, dont think, me writing here is an act of cowardice on my part. If you´d provided an email address I would have done it in there. However of course !they do not have!, it is the case of the children who ring the bell and run away ...
You are smart!
You have taken the hand of J.Vazquez, and that as I think for many, he got my greatest sympathy and recognition to gain credibility. Truth is that I would think about it if I were him...
Except for these four trifles, is an excellent company and service is perfect!
Let me quote Scarlet O'hara: I will never go back to ....... Jazztel!

If I could give -10

If I could give -10, I would! They are continuing to take money out of my bank account even after I closed the account. I tried to dispute when they did take unauthorized charges and the result was in additional 31 euro charges (called bounced checks). When I refused to pay they threatened me to report me to a credit agency and several times their agents hang up. I would not give me account number to them, you will be at their discrepancy to charge your account at their will.

Awful customer care experience.

Awful customer care experience.
Had to move to another flat and they couldn’t teleport my line/fiber that I had contracted because of coverage. Talked with 3-4 agents and nobody told me I had to retrieve the router within 15 working days. Next thing I know, a tax collecting company calls me to ask me to pay 125euros because I hadn’t returned it in time. Do not recommend it at all!!!

Don't ever use this company

Don't ever use this company. they are imposible to contact from abroad. they dont have any telephonenumbers you can use and no emails are displayed anywhere. I'm stock to cancel a subscribtion I don't want because they charce triple price corresponding to others
