It has now been 3 months. Despite multiple promises, there has been no delivery and no refund.

Please read the reviews. This guy has a phenomenal book of the most bizarre excuses. If you dont mind chasing and being told rubbish proceed. The worst experience of any purchase. I tried on 3 orders believing the excuses and finally had to go to PayPal dispute. Avoid at all cost

Ordered in November25 despite promise after promise I never received any of my Orders just constant excuse after excuse. He don't communicate with you just let's you believe your corals are coming when they are not. Took till February 26 to get my refunds.

Very knowledgeable always goes the extra mile cheapest frags and live food around nice guy .

9 months of emails and phone calls attempting to arrange a single livestock delivery with Jon. Failure to post the order on 8 separate agreed delivery dates with no explanation until prompted. Jon is not unpleasant in demeanor and can be reached with persistence, but clearly not ashamed to employ all manner of excuses over large sums of money.

At this time he is clearly unfit to be offering online sales, a shame as he does offer unique soft corals at reasonable prices

If you do decide to order from JBSmarines, ensure all communcation is documented for paypal/card chargebacks, and initiate refund well within reasonable time periods if necessary

First and last time I will ever buy from this seller and here’s why, Firstly my order I received was shocking!! Stone cold water and extremely poorly packaged corals- they were dead and had fallen off plugs, they were covered in algae and had to trash them waste of money , oh and secondly on the subject off money I sent pictured evidence on dead corals and was agreed a refund but I’m here writing this review because I’ve never received my refund and got extremely poor customer service from this seller! Oh and if you ignore this review you need to know that if you do buy from this seller your possible order will probably won’t turn up till the end of the arrange day as the courier service is just as shocking YOUR ORDER WILL NOT BE ON A GUARANTEED BEFORE 1pm service. JON I want my money back and I will consider changing or removing this review!!!

I had ordered a few soft coral frags as a trial of sorts as other reviews painted such a bad picture, but i was gladly surprised.
Within a week I had received everything I ordered and a free frag of some gorgeous GSP.
The only issue was that the temperature of the frag bags, but this really is my own fault for ordering frags during winter (there was a heat pack provided and was still slightly warm though sadly it was a particularly cold day on delivery).
The corals naturally needed a couple days to recoup from the stress but two weeks after they are the image of health.
This brings me to the last point, which is the price of the service, which has to be the cheapest corals I have seen and with promotion codes that reduce price by 40% you really cant go wrong.
I am so happy with my experience that I'm now ordering an even bigger order of corals!

I would highly recommend this to anyone who is wanting to enjoy the hobby at an affordable cost and still enjoy beautiful and colorful corals.

I used to order from Jon all the time and it was always hit or miss wether u got what you ordered or not, i wasnt too bothered as the frags were so cheap and being a first time reef owner it gave my tank a bit of colour. Fast forward a year or so and he has been terrible to work with. I placed an order last September so over a year ago and i dont know how many let downs i have had. He promised me he would post the next day numerious times but the order never arrived. It was just excuse after excuse. I asked for a refund which he didnt answer and then when i asked again he promised me he would sort it that same night. That was 4 weeks ago and i still havent received my refund. Needless to say he has lost another customer. I actually dont know how he is still in business as he seems to treat a lot of his customers this way. Shame on you Jon.

It's been a month and a half and I still haven't received my order ftom the 2 june admittedly the weather has been hot but reputable dealers have been delivering in the cooler breaks won't answer any comunication stay clear!!!!

I have used this company many times over the years, without problems.
Unfortunately this will be my last order, as something has gone wrong with the business in my view.
Terrible communication, corals are even smaller than before, (they have always been small). Several items were practically dead on arrival, others completely missing.
What used to be a small, well run business for cheap frags is now somewhere to absolutely avoid.

Ordered coral two were damaged completely off the frag plug. So tiny could barely see them. Sent pictures didn’t even get a reply

I'd literally avoid this seller like the plague. I won't write a big essay but in short I bought an order from the website and won two auctions. We organised a date of delivery which was met with constant fails and I always had to message him the day before or the day of delivery to find out he hadn't sent it out for various reasons. Literally no communication from him unless I messaged first, then when we finally agreed a date of delivery, he determines the date of delivery as the day he ships them not when I receive them??! After many many failed attempts I continued to give him chances to which he failed so I asked for a refund on the 2nd March.. I have still not received my refunds and he's now ignoring me, raised a case through PayPal. Literally a thief and a waste of time. I never normally write reviews but this guy is a crook.

I purchase my live pods and phyto from jbs marines and very happy with the quality of the products and the price and service I receive.
Always well packaged and arrive on selected delivery days.

Receive my coral purchases today and wasn't too impressed by what the website represented. Only one of the corals I received WYSISWG that I ordered I am happy with. But for the other three corals I ordered are not true to the colour they are advised online. Very washed out and bland.
The water they were transported in was quite dirty also.
Communication and delivery time was great, but the quality of the corals wasn't overall. Unfortunately I won't be ordering from this company again which is a shame.

Can't recommend I am afraid - impressive selection of items on the website and the promises and guarantees on the website look reassuring.... but after placing an order, paying and then hearing nothing after a week I had to go through Paypal for a refund.

Great coral seller, probably 90%of my coral has come from JB Marines. Great service, replies quickly and the auctions are incredible value. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
