I'm writing this to narrate my experience at Jeans Center Leiden. I met the excellent store manager at Jeans Center Leiden whose name is Nele, such a very professional human, with a sweet treatment of her customers! I walked into the store for the first time, she so patiently and kindly welcomed me in and being a first time customer she spoke so brilliantly about Jeans Culture and the brand, Garcia, from their inception and their branches. Nele should be the standard for every store manager! So much Positive energy from this woman that would make you want to shop again and again at her store. She is Friendly, kind with a pure spirit and love for her job and customers. When she had to attend to other customers, she asked a colleague of hers to offer me coffee and a seat because I also had a low battery and needed my phone, Nele literally offered to take my phone to charge it for a bit! I haven't met any store manager that sweet in the Netherlands! In the end, it made me attribute Jeans Center as a classy and wonderful company for hiring such well cultured staff! Thank you Nele for making my visit to Jeans Center inspiring! I wish you all the good and positive energy you dish out to the world. May life always be gracious and kind to Nele. Many thanks!

Something went wrong with the delivery, they took perfect care of this. The service is great.
And the jeans are of good quality!

On the day I bought my jeans, I was told it would be possible to shorten the length, but they couldn’t do it at the time because their sewing machine was missing a part. They asked me to come back the following month, which I did today. This time, however, they said they had received the missing part, but the staff still needed to learn how to do the fitting/sewing, and suggested I come back again at another time. They couldn’t give any specific timeframe for when they would be able to do it, apparently because they don’t have time to practice.
Then they asked how many centimeters the trousers needed to be shortened. When I said 1 cm, they told me they wouldn’t do it unless it was at least 4 cm. I found the whole situation very strange. They also said it is clearly stated on their website which Jeans Centre shops are able to do alterations, but I haven’t been able to find this information anywhere.
Long story short, it’s disappointing that they don’t deliver on their promises, and depending on which staff member you speak to, you can get a completely different story. This happened in Wageningen!

i've had real good experiences in the past, buying jeans from this store...
a few years ago(2023) they were having a decent sale on the Pilot jeans that i really like...i thought i could use a new pair since the ones i had were beginning to show wear...
to get the sale price i had to buy two. so i did.
one hung in the closet for the interim.
i tried them on a few days ago and...they were not the right length. not the length that i had ordered... so i wrote to them and asked if they might be able to exchange them...
i know it's been a long time(a year and a half), but they're new. never worn...well, besides having tried them on and discovering that they were too long...
they wrote back to say politely that that line had been replaced and they couldn't exchange the jeans...
i'd really like it if i didn't have to always be paying for other people's mistakes...
of course, NOW they're going to respond, saying how SORry they are...i guess that's cheaper than making up for the mistake. that sort of response is worth as much to me as the jeans are now...
