Unprofessional and rude front desk…

Unprofessional and rude front desk manager at N Beltline, Irving TX clinic. The clinic had been calling two weeks prior for my whitening appointment, which just an evaluation prior to scheduling the whitening. I got there and I was checked in. After 20 mins I went to the window to tell the attendant am just there for evaluation. When she tried to check when the technician the manager intercepted. That I need records from my dentist for i can come for evaluation. I remind her office had sent me over 10 text messages for the appointment and I could have been informed what I needed to bring but not to be sent back. The manager then it was their "calling center" I was dealing with and if I like I can go do whitening somewhere else.

Horrible Service, Unexperienced Billing Dept, Poor Management

My name is Elton Hagan and I have had services from Jefferson Dental in Pasadena Texas on Richey Road and I was charged for services I never received $1200.00 worth and every time I call or go up there, the billing and manager always say well you needed the services. The problem is I never received any services. I have more wait time in the lobby then getting seen. Then when I try to cancel the contract then they want to charge me the $1200 when I never received trays from Ortho or any services. These people are rude and dangerous to your credit.

Jefferson Dental

Jefferson dental clearly knew that I was a medicare recipient but allowed a Dentist to care for Me that didn't accept Medicare.(Not in My network).Therefore I was responsible for the bill not covered by My insurance company. I'm not happy and will not be going back.
I was informed that I have 90 days to pay before it will be turned in to the credit bureau. WELL

Went to get my teeth cleaned &…

Went to get my teeth cleaned & specifically told them in advance that i don’t want anything done that my insurance doesn’t pay for besides periodontal maintenance. They agreed. They did three different types of imaging & I told them that was very excessive & why do I need that much imaging. Well they will insist that you do & pressure you into why you need it & that insurance pays for it. Well my insurance didn’t pay for it & now they are sending me bills. This is the second time they have done this & each time I have told them that I don’t want anything extra than what is needed at a minimum for my cleaning. The billing department will only argue with you saying that if they performed a procedure it was because they felt you needed but when you tell them not to do anything you don’t really need it’s just really frustrating. It’s insurance juicing to me & when insurance sees the unnecessary billing they refuse to pay & you end up with a bill. Beware of these tricks & chose wisely where you go.

Its been 15:49 minutes on hold and Jefferson does not answer just keep saying don't hangup. Terrible service so far!!!
I am hanging up its been 16:31 minutes. Recorder keeps saying Jefferson is here to help// and they don't pickup left on hold

I arrived at the Office of Jefferson…

I arrived at the Office of Jefferson Dental Northgate facility to have my second cleaning for the year. During that time I refused to have x-rays done due to my insurance not paying for more x-rays. When I refused to have that done, the general manager got involved and assure me that would not be any additional charge and that it was requirement. I had a regular cleaning and as I was reviewing my insurance, I noticed they have services that they didn't performed. Spoke to the general manager again and she again ensured me that I didn't not owe a balance. Now I am getting calls from billing stating that I have a balance. There are a tons of reviews regarding Jefferson Dental Northgate in Irving Texas billing for services they didn't performed. I reported them to my insurance company as well as the fraud department.

Warning

Warning, stay away from Jefferson Dental! Find another competent dental office. Not only is their care and treatment plan. Poor their communication is even worse and they’re billing department is despicable.! Stay away!!

My husband visited the Grand Prairie location on Main Street. Paid in advance for services. After paying in advance and them charging my insurance..They decided he did not need a root canal, they stated they would be refunding our money for that. It’s been over 45 days, no refund. No one will return our calls-the lady at the front desk after visiting says it’s processing she doesn’t know why it would take this long. No communication, unethical, unprofessional.

Not A Fan, sorry

Called in Sept. 2023 to make appt. phone person was minimally helpful. Explained fully what I needed and asked about my ins. Took 2 calls to answer my questions. Appt set for 9/20/23. Front desk extremely disinterested in greeting me and very inadequate on answering questions. Gave me a form to fill out for consent for a teeth cleaning. I have dentures for heavens sake! Exam went straight to the oral full mouth X-ray. So there’s one bill. Then asst Daniel was fairly receptive to my needs, after I explained AGAIN why I was there. So Dr. came in and then proceeded to tell me don’t even do implant work there so have to go to another location. So had the consult bill and X-ray before I get to the correct doctor. Then as I left gave me appt info. I called after the visit and said they forgot to give me my billing paperwork. They said only give it IF we ask. (After I called to get it). Will not return. Sorry.
please inform front desk ladies how to field questions of those they do not understand.

I realized I lost a couple of fillings…
I realized I lost a couple of fillings on a Friday. I called 1-800-dentist and they found this clinic for me for a Saturday appt. Good thing I went! I had two lost fillings, a cavity that need immediate attention and broken tooth that needed a root canal. Got it all done on Saturday, I go back in 2 1/2 weeks to get the crown placed. I was very comfortable with the people that worked there, they were amazing. I did elect to us Laughing Gas and they also gave me oxygen. I actually napped on and off during the procedures. I was there for 5 hours, not how I wanted to spend my Saturday but so glad I went had things taken care of. After being there so long and I hadn't ate my blood sugar dropped and the office staff provided me with a soda and I had my glucose tablets with me (always do). After drinking some soda and taking the tablet after 10-15 minutes I was ready to leave. I'm writing this on the Monday after the procedures and my left side of my mouth if barely sore (where the root canal was, the right side is just fine. I would recommend Jefferson Dentist to any one needing immediate attention.
