Jende Industries is currently an international company with facilities in the US, Australia, Malaysia, and Taiwan. Ironically, we had no intentions of becoming a sharpening-based company. But as fate would have it, in 1999 we started sharpening (poorly) and fell into the rabbit hole - deeply. Fast forward after several years of trial and a whole lot of error, and Jende Industries was started in 2004 with a single product - the Jende Reed Knife. The name and the knife quickly became associated with sharpness and quality in the world of oboe, bassoon, and clarinet. From there we branched out into different realms of sharpeningdom, including kitchen knives, woodworking, scissors, and straight razors; and despite getting kicked off all the hip forums and discussion lists of the day, started becoming known as a respectable source of sharpening knowledge and equipment.

The company is doing all they can…
The company is doing as much as they can. I found that the acetylene nut on the torch set was bad. I contacted them and with out questioning me they sent another torch set. Unfortunately it was bad also. So I bout a nut from a different supplier and installed it. Now I have one working torch set.

Jende provides great products! I have 2 of their knife rolls as well as a number of knife sharpening stones and other products. All are great!! And I can't speak highly enough of their customer service!! Very highly recommended!!

I've been using Jende for many years
I've been using Jende for many years. On more than one occasion they had a product I needed when I could not find it elsewhere. They were also very helpful and knowledgeable about products when I had questions. They have been a step or two above other vendors who are not as knowledgeable about products and sharpening in general. The prices are competitive. Great consumer oriented place to shop.

diamond sharping sheets are best system I have used
Products are really good. I like the diamond sharping sheets. However the shipping to Germany means I have to go to the customs office to import the product.

So do you feel firstborn, livers and kidneys are expensive? Can we ask you a question? How much did any of those cost you to make??? Right so tell me again how expensive was it really?
You can function on one kidney.
Our more pricy items are an arm and a leg (literally) and at times we will take Cornias, hearts, lungs.
As you can see we are very flexible.
Beautiful knife bag
Beautiful knife bag; has held up for many years, only needed a couple rivets replaced. It just looks better with age. I get compliments on it all the time.
