In addition to the outstanding resources available to members, I decided to engage one of their trusted novelists/editors (Sarah Naughton) via the Manuscript Assessment offering. I can’t speak highly enough about the quality of feedback I received. Yes, it was nice to hear where things were working in the story, but it was PRICELESS to receive honest, thoughtful, insightful, and actionable feedback and critique where the novel was failing. I was able to channel that feedback directly into vast improvements to the story, and to my own abilities as a writer. This manuscript is out on submission and received a full ms request by a top agency based on the first 50 pages. My confidence in its market viability is the result of the care and energy put into it by the Jericho Writers team, and Sarah, who gave it to me straight with compassion, humor, and encouragement. Premium Membership and the Manuscript Assessment service have been wonderful

Jericho Writers Critique club is excellent. My work was critiqued in the last session and it was a massive boost. This sort of encouragement in the rejection-heavy world of publishing is so important for writers.I felt really encouraged by the feedback from the hosts as well as the invaluable suggestions for improvement.

I wasn't planning on writing a novel, it just sort of...happened. Now what? How can make the 5 months I spent writing it worthwhile? I tried Jericho Writers, originally just for their database of literary agents. What I found was a wonderful group of incredibly knowledgeable writers with wealth of courses, online events, and how-to information that I desperately needed. They welcomed me and are equipping me with the knowledge, tools, and techniques I need to be successful. Not bad for $20 a month! If you are serious about writing, whether you are aiming for traditional publishing or self-publishing, you owe it to yourself to check them out.

I have found Jericho Writers invaluable, over the last 3 years. There is so much advice and guidance through their courses. Feedback Friday is wonderful where writers just like you are there to support, help and advise.
The Writers Festivals are great too. As well as all the lectures, you may make friends for life.

I’ve found Jericho Writers useful for several years now. At first, I just used to use the excellent free articles and videos they posted, but becoming premium really helped, because of an excellent range of teaching materials that you have access to. The peer network and critique opportunities are invaluable too. And they are a really friendly bunch!

I look forward to Jericho Writers newsletters and the cheeky voice of Harry. I make a point of reading them unlike most of the many writing newsletters I’ve signed up to. I very much appreciate the themes, guidance and direction that has gone some way to improving my writing practice.

I had to continue after a year's membership because I honestly couldn't think of writing without JW. The Friday Feedback, the lessons, the community, the special events - all totally invaluble. There are published writers in the community, respected agents stop by for those special events - I got two full requests from a pitch event. The support is amazing.

Imposter Syndrome Not.
I love Rosie Fiore’s post about imposter syndrome. I’m taking her words with me to my writing today. I’ll unleash my imagination on my next junior fiction chapter and I just know now that it will go well. Robyn - Auckland, New Zealand.

I have been a premium member since December and I’ve got to say I think it offers fantastic value for money. I’ve done several courses and the group chat feature is great. As I look to start sending to agents, I have just used the query letter feedback and I have taken part in an agent one to one (small extra charge) which has been incredibly helpful in making my submission pack the best it can possibly be.

Talking to Kat was extremely helpful and clarified my options considerably.

I've been a Premium Member for over a year; in that time I have completed courses by Harry Bingham and had a Query letter review and a 15 minute agent one-to-one phone call. I've just completed Becca Day's excellent How to Get a Literary Agent Course and highly recommend it.

As a writer who used to be based in the USA, finding Jericho Writers has been an absolute godsend. I hope to publish in the UK, so having knowledgeable and friendly people here who I can ask for advice is amazing. Just booked a 15 phone call and Rachel not only answered my questions but sent me an email highlighting all the salient points we'd covered. Couldn't be happier.

I love reading the weekly newsletter. It's always uplifting, full of valuable information for writers and is usually very funny t'boot!

I joined Jeeicho about a year ago and all I can say is this:
It has brought me forward, supported me and keeps me going.
So go for it, spoil yourself and get the support you need.
These people are brilliant.

I've been a member for four years and have always been impressed by the speed of their responses to any queries.
Their webinars are hosted by experts in their field and there is ample opportunity to interact with other writers.
It has the feel of a genuine community with common goals, namely, working through the highs and lows of being writers to being published authors.
