Refund mayhem

Despite a duplicate booking, JetSmart customer service decided to wait till after the flight to advise a refund request had been reject (despite informing me numerous times that a full refund would be processed). Hence no ability to even get a voucher for the full amount. Pure greed from the company, ripping off their consumers!

Never fly Jetsmart

Never fly Jetsmart. Super militant about hand luggage - I couldn’t check in as had laptop and camera which can’t go under. I was 1kg over and Charged on the spot. Spend your money with a proper airline who don’t make flying miserable.

Expensive low cost but very liw comfort

Instant and stupid request to come 3 hours before takeoff in the middle of the night. Registration and security in 30 minutes. Two hours waiting when I would have preferred to sleep.
No room for legs when I'm not tall.
Uncomfortable sieges. No water in the sink to wash your hands.
Infernal noise in the cabin because of the on-board staff who keep talking (strong) in the rear.
Finally, very expensive low cost flight for comfort very low.

Total nightmare

Total nightmare. I am sitting in the airport in Santiago, Chile at 2:30 am because Jet Smart does not care.
My husband and I will never fly with them again!

Check-in

The check-in option online failed and couldn't find my flight. So I had to do it in person and was ridiculously charged 8 CLP to have a boarding pass printed when your own system doesn't even work properly.... Staff are also unfriendly and rude.

Is saving money worth missing an experience?

I agree with a previous comment, read the reviews, avoid the low cost carriers and pay the money for more dependability. We booked tickets with Jet Smart months ago from Buenos Aires to Iguazu return. A few months ago they changed our morning flights to evening flights less one day so instead of having three days there, we were down to two. We were okay with that considering at that point as Canadians we were going to need Visa’s to go to the Brazilian side. We received our notice to download our boarding passes on the morning of January 29 for our January 30 flight. Then on the evening of January 29, we got a notice saying that our flight had been cancelled due to operational reasons. At that late date there were no other flights or tours available never mind the cost of last minute booking. We have done a fair bit of travelling and this is the first time this has happened to us so I must admit, we feel fortunate. Unfortunately, we don’t foresee coming back to Argentina and will have missed seeing this wonder of the world thanks to Jet Smart!

MISLEADING, CONFUSING, CUMBERSOME

Jetsmart online level of confusion when booking makes them seem like a corrupt business. They basically start advertising with a price of 0 (LIE) and add a dollar for every letter you type to make the booking - they add fees for EVERYTHING and do not attempt to make the booking process straightforward, simple or transparent at all. Some of the major annoyances is that the cost per bag, including handbag carry-on is MORE THAN THE FARE PER PERSON. But if you weigh less, they wont subtract cost!!! What a nightmare!

I ignored the reviews and paid the price. Don’t be like me!

My girlfriend and I booked flights for Argentina. The company took payment and then miraculously 2 hours later decided a flight on the 24th of
January to EZE Airport was disrupted due to strike action at the AEP airport on the 23rd October. They still haven’t paid our refund request.
We never went to Argentina…

The helpline was useless. The support agent from their team was only able to offer a refund 45 days later. 45 days.. still TBC if we get it. Will leave more reviews following my experiences chasing the team for my money.

Please save yourself they hassle, spend the extra £100 on a real aeroplane company, enjoy your holiday and never ever book with JetSmart

Why is there no option for zero or…

Why is there no option for zero or minus stars? This airline is a complete joke, I got to the airport to find no one there at the check in desk. They had just decided to cancel it without any notification. I thought there is another flight departing two hours later, I might get on that, but they had cancelled that too. I ended up extending my stay by three days and had book flights with another airline to return home. This airline should not be allowed to do business at all.

Misled us and wouldn't allow us to board

Refused to let us check-in at the desk, saying we needed to do it online. They then proceeded to allow the remaining Argentinians in the queue behind us to check-in at the desk. The online check-in wasn't working and when we went back to the desk to explain, they said they had oversold seats on the flight and we would be unable to board.

We feel them insisting that we, and the only other foreigners in the queue in addition to us, check in online was a deliberate ploy to leave specifically us off the flight, as it was easier than them having to argue with native Spanish speakers. Shortly after this, the staff all cleared off and left the desk, leaving a poor junior member of staff to deal with our complaints on her own. The resolution the offered was unsatisfactory and I feel the ethics of JetSmart are poor. Avoid them if you can.

Jetsmart is a SCAM!

DO NOT touch this airline! They will cancel your flight,refuse to refund you then leave you with no choice but to take a voucher which does not even cover a third of your costs! An absolute disgrace and without doubt the worst airline and customer service in existence!!!

We flew for first time yesterday from AEP to Mendoza. The staff were extremely friendly and extremely professional. Also captain and his crew very friendly . Never use this airline

They cancelled my flight without notice, i was already at the airport. I had to book a very expensive last minute flight with LATAM and Jetsmart didn't respond for any of the consequences. They refunded me 30 dollars and my ticket was 80 usd.
Terrible customer service, totally unreliable and doesn't take anny accountability for their actions.

Not reliable company at all

Not reliable company at all. My flight(QD776H) from Lima to Cusco on 02/11/2023 was cancelled without letting me know in advance. I had to book another flight with Latam on same date at high cost. Therefore I tried to get refunds from jetsmart online website sine then. I couldn't get through , it always tell you to try in a few minutes but it never worked. I tried to get refunds every day for almost one month with no reply at all. It's nightmares. This jetsmart airline is totally scam and shouldn't be in operation to fraud ordinary people's hard money. I wished that I had read the reviews before I bought this flight tickets.

Do not use this company

Got a ticket for my familia 7pax for 28.11 they relocated x 29.12 with no notice no email nothing.contacted call center they were very rude with no knowlege tell me they can no do anything no explaining options no recognizing their fault ..have to stay one extra day in cusco with 2 small kids losing tours and acomodationin arequipa under mi own cost ..I didnt get nothing no even an apology
Recomendación dont use this company x any reason even sometimes prices look cheaper u may lose all your trip specialy if u have a conection fligth or a a organize vacation
