I was conned into lights by Jevalin. Posing with a UK number and address, i made my purchase. three weeks late I received my lamps from china. They are awful, cheap materials, no safety regs, thin wires, i darent install these, nor would i want to!

I spent a long time searching for a specific Japanese-style lamp and was pleased to find it on Jevalin, which appeared to be a UK-based site offering free UK shipping. The website looked legitimate, with a UK address listed, so I placed my order.
Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to expectations. The lamp took about three weeks to arrive, and there was no tracking or communication in the meantime. When it finally turned up today , it had a non-UK plug (not mentioned on the site) rendering it unusable. The paper shade had been bent to fit inside the box — it might recover once installed, but it’s not ideal.
Customer service was difficult to reach, though I did eventually get a reply from someone named Sophie after chasing the delivery. Overall, it feels like Jevalin acts more as a drop-shipping operation than a true UK-based retailer the item likely comes from overseas after you place your order.
Lovely product images on the website, but my experience was disappointing. I’d advise others to proceed with caution.
