Jonathan is an expert

Jonathan knows jewellery and creates the most gorgeous pieces. In fact I would only ever get my jewellery from him. I trust him implicitly to source me the best stones and make me exactly what I want. He recently made me the most stunning necklace with diamonds and sapphires and I love it and it wear it every day.

Recommend 💯. Excellence every time!

I have used Jewellery Cave for more than 6 years. I have always found Jonathan most professional, polite and efficient in his communication. A recent purchase was ready ahead of time and Jonathan very kindly went out of his way to open up out of hours for me to collect my new bracelet as I had traveled from up North. I would not hesitate to recommend Jewellery Cave. Thank you so much again, I absolutely love my new bracelet 😊.

Weirdly rude

Weirdly rude! So unprofessional. Be careful! I reached out to them as I wanted to sell a piece of jewellery. They asked for pics and details no problem.
Sent a couple of pics and details. Their response was so rude for no reason.
Really couldn’t care less if they don’t want to buy my item, which clearly they didn’t! but at least be polite when you reply. So obnoxious! Their email told me all I needed to know

AVOID AVOID AVOID

The transaction started well - Johnathan is very charming and on the face of it wanted to do anything to make us leave happy. The latter included making the ring wed fit.
However, post purchase (I say purchase, we paid a 50% deposit on a £6500 ring) Johnathan became exceptionally difficult to deal with. One of the biggest upsets was he initially quoted £200 for the diamond to be sent away to the GIA, this they went up to £500 then £596 ….!!! In addition the ring Johnathan designed was not even the same as the initial one we looked at - it was not just the band that em had changed, the whole mount was different.Eventually, after 4 weeks and 3 5 hour round trips to London (the last one we were there 5 minutes as after I said I was unsure on the mount he rudely said “I need you to leave” we decided we had lost faith in the jeweller and (still with no ring and £3250 out of pocket) we stated our grievance and asked for a refund. This is where things got very nasty!
Following on from a ‘sent without prejudice’ letter Johnathan and I eventually had a conversation. Johnathan became rude and insulting towards me on the phone… it took several more letters to get most of our money back - I am still £300 out of pocket!
I would liken the interaction to being in a toxic relationship - the first week Johnathan was sending lots of messages, showing pics of his family etc …then he became very nasty.
In short - avoid!
