Bad Medical Establishment
I've been going to doctors appointments here for like 3 years. 1 of like a dozen doctors here is good and some are very bad.
They have insane amounts of bureaucracy that make even small tasks a nightmare. Like I want to schedule my surgery and the surgeon can't do it, scheduling can't do it, surgery scheduling can't do it, Ophthalmology Surgery can't do it. It has to be 1 specific person in Ophthalmology Surgery scheduling, and then I get voicemail like the first 20 times I call them. Then they can only schedule the day and I can't get a time until the afternoon of the day before surgery and they call me within a 4 hour window. If I don't pickup oh well too bad, surgery cancelled, and I can't call them. Also it's a 2 hour drive for me. I need to know the time earlier and I need specific times.
With another doctor I got an appointment 6 months out, and that was their soonest date. With a whole department they have no available times with anyone for the whole year, and they can't see into next year cause I was asking in February.
I don't know why Hopkins has a good name in the medical field, they're one of the worst places I've ever interacted with and that's not just out of medical establishments.
