WARNING Jingretreats.com Carol Chen

WARNING: My Experience with Carol Chen and Jing Retreats

I would strongly advise prospective customers to exercise caution before booking a retreat with Carol Chen, also known as @yoga.with.caz, a London-based yoga instructor who operates Jing Retreats.

We signed up for her retreat and made extensive travel arrangements in reliance on the booking, including flights, connecting flights, hotels, and transportation. After these arrangements had been made, the retreat was cancelled at the last minute, leaving us facing significant disruption and potential financial losses.

The way this situation was handled was deeply disappointing and, in my experience, highly unprofessional. Rather than taking accountability for the impact of the cancellation, I felt that the blame was being shifted onto us. The communication also left me feeling that the situation was being handled in a manipulative and unnecessarily confrontational manner.

A last-minute cancellation after customers have committed substantial time and money to travel is a serious matter. Customers deserve clear communication, accountability, and professional treatment, particularly when international travel arrangements are involved.

Based on my experience, I would urge anyone considering booking with Carol Chen or Jing Retreats to carefully review the cancellation terms, obtain all commitments in writing, and understand their financial exposure before paying.

Please exercise caution and do your due diligence before booking with Jing Retreats.
