Do not use this company for your wedding
Do not use this company for your wedding!!! I received 6 bridesmaid dresses on 2nd February. I had my fitting on 20th Feb with my Bridemaids. Upon opening the dresses all of them had faults but one had obvious faults. The fabric was totally snagged down the front. I emailed to exchange the one dress. They said they can't return or exchange because it's out of the 14 day window... This is against consumer rights laws which is 30 days for faulty items. The company are very unapologetic. They also have no easily accessible customer service.

Small Town Experience
I live in a small town where there is not a store for formal wear. Being able to choose some dresses online and only pay shipping and try on a home with such a treat! The return instructions were so easy. Hassle free. I highly recommend.

Poor quality dress
Saw a number of dresses I was interested in on J J House website for a wedding and sent an email including examples of the dresses to book an appointment in London three weeks in advance. No response until over a week before I was due to travel. The store said they had been extremely busy and the dresses I wanted were not in store. Decided to order two sizes of the same dress online and paid over £500. Quality was absolutely not as expected in the picture. Badly sewn and very poor synthetic quality material. Waited over three weeks for delivery. Feel badly let down and misled.

Poor quality. Poor choice of styles in store. Even poorer customer service skills by staff member!
I had half a dozen dresses in my basket but decided to drive the 20 miles to visit the store in London. 2 assistants sitting at the back of the shop. Barely acknowledged us as we entered. I showed the dresses in my online basket. Of the 6 styles only ONE was available to try on. (SO glad I hadn’t paid in advance to book an appointment!!)
She then showed me online, what they had available in my size to try on, NONE of which were anything like the 6 I had shown interest in. She wasn’t rude, but she was completely disinterested in ANY form of customer service or even simple help! I was looking for a dress for myself, (mother of the bride). And then for 6 bridesmaids. So a potential sale of over £1000.00.
Honestly, the quality of the fabrics on display is poor. The one dress I did try on had large sequins on it. At least a dozen of which were on the changing room floor just from trying it on. Imagine how many you’d lose moving around in it 🤦🏻♀️.
All in all, absolutely nothing good to report. EXCEPT, the absolute knowledge that buying from them online, I’m still going to receive poor quality fabric dresses that simply ‘look cheap’. Better off buying the same quality at 20% of their price from a well known site that sounds like EMU 😂. I imagine the JJ dresses are made in the same factories anyway!!

Whilst I appreciate you may not carry all styles in store, there was literally ONE dress for me to try on. One! Had I paid a £20 booking fee for an appt, only to have 1 dress available to try on, I would not have been happy. I’m a size 16 so wasn’t asking for something outside the norm. Shocking waste of my time!!

Very easy to do
Very easy to do. I highly recommend the try before you buy. I am a hard size to fit and i was really happy that i i did that. And doing the return was so easy. Kept one of the dresses. Tried it in a size larger than what i would have bought. Glad i did cause it is the one that fit. Quality is good and i got my order early. I would order from them again
