Updating my resume in fraction of time
I used it, to update my Resume to look more professional and it helps me a lot to enhance my resume and it suggested skills based on information in my uploaded resume and most of them were related to what i do. Jobhero billed me twice and refuse to refund
Jobhero refuse to respond to my email to seek for a refund after being billed twice. They wrote that their response turnaround time is at-least 24hrs but that has not been the case with me. I can only assume they refuse to refund me hence they refuse to respond

Quick response and made it right
Initially had a a bad experience with being overcharged on my account. I also began getting charges from companies I never heard of after signing up so I had to close my card. Jobhero responded quickly and reimbursed my account. I am grateful for that. Thank you Jobhero ☺️

(real review) Great website with lots of cool templates. I've jazzed up my CV and Cover Letter, using styles I just wouldn't have been able to do by myself. Also your AI 'prompts' are honestly among the best I've seen for helping augment written work. LinkedIn Premium has such a r3tarded AI companion. Even ChatGPT is too fluffy sometimes. This one is precise and professional though, big improvement
Points of feedback:
- hidden cost, which is only apparent *after* you've laboriously put in all your details. hate this super sneaky move .. but it was like £2.50 for a 2w trial, so I bit the bullet, and don't regret it. what's a bus ticket vs. getting a job so you can actually buy the bus
- your process of recommending 'edits' is quite clunky and requires jumping between different screens. though the recommendations themselves are good I guess
- after I finished editing my Cover Letter, it erased a text box !! maybe because of inactivity / my laptop went on sleep in between, but please warn ppl to save work, or autosave it for them
Probably more points either side but overall YES worth it, for the novel layouts and solid AI prompts that would make the Terminator blush

I had a terrible experience with JobHero
I had a terrible experience with JobHero. I was charged a recurring monthly fee without any notice or warning, which was incredibly frustrating. The lack of transparency in their billing practices felt deceptive, and canceling the subscription was a hassle. I couldn't remove my billing information from their website. It was locked. To make matters worse, their customer service was completely unresponsive. I reached out multiple times and received no assistance or resolution, which only added to my frustration. I would not recommend this service to others, as it seems designed to take advantage of users with ongoing charges that aren’t clearly communicated. Be cautious when using JobHero. They do not even deserve 1 star.
09/17/24 - Adding comments based on response provided by JobHero. There are a lot of products available in the market that offer a free trial and then if you don't cancel, it goes to a paid subscription. I have personally used many, but they all send a communication to the customer prior to the trial expiring and each time the customer is billed. Also, they don't lock the customer's profile so the customer cannot update the billing information. You intentionally do not communicate to customers so if the customer does not notice their ongoing charges on their credit card, you can keep charging them. A company operating with a customer mindset will not do that, especially to customers who are looking for jobs. That's like exploiting customers. In reading reviews from other customers, it looks like you have been doing this for some time and despite reviews have not changed your billing strategy. Also, as per the email I received from you, the refund was only for September.
