I really liked the quickness of the AI to get it done so quickly.

My experience with JobStep.io has been extremely frustrating. My CV was already completed, and I did not need any additional features. I simply wanted to cancel my subscription and delete my account and personal data. Unfortunately, this turned out to be much more difficult than it should be.

Canceling the subscription requires going through countless steps, additional screens, offers, and unnecessary tasks. The system keeps pushing users to continue using the platform: editing their CV, reviewing documents, making further corrections, searching for job offers, analyzing them, editing the CV again, and creating cover letters.

I do not need any of this. I JUST WANT TO CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION!

The worst part is that the website does not allow you to access your account settings freely. At every stage, it requires you to complete additional tasks. Even when you contact customer support and explicitly ask them to cancel your subscription manually and delete your personal data, you do not receive a concrete solution. Instead, they send you instructions that redirect you back to the same website that prevents you from doing what you actually need.

And no, this is not about the money or about me not understanding the subscription terms or having given my consent. The issue is much simpler: every user should have the right to cancel a subscription at any time without being forced to complete unnecessary tasks or navigate an exhausting cancellation process.

Customer support should also properly handle requests to delete personal data instead of repeatedly sending users the same instructions that do not solve the problem.

The entire process feels deliberately designed to discourage users from canceling and to make them waste a significant amount of time completing tasks they never wanted to do in the first place.

Honestly, I do not recommend this platform. If you need to create a CV, do not expect JobStep.io to provide you with a perfect document. In my opinion, it is not worth wasting your time on a platform that makes basic actions such as canceling a subscription and managing your own account unnecessarily difficult.

Canceling a subscription should be simple, accessible, and possible without having to fight the system.

So far so good, makes a very clean resume, I'm just starting with it, so let's see where things go.

It was easy and good

This service is a joke. Taking people's money and then making it so difficult to get a refund is absolutely unacceptable. Customer support is frustrating, and the whole experience feels misleading and exploitative. People are looking for jobs, not another problem to deal with. I regret paying for this service and strongly warn others to stay away.

I had a smalll problem with changing my profile picture and the team sent me a guide on tp change it. Love the quick response!
