Jobyco does not deserve to even have a…

Jobyco does not deserve to even have a rated star. This company had me sitting at home the whole day for 2 days in a row and did not even bother to call to let me know that my item could not be delivered. These were items to be used during my brief stay and we now only have a few days to leave with these items still not received. I tried calling the driver to request an estimated time but he just fobbed me off saying he would let me know when he is enroute. I called again at 19:45 and his phone was unsurprisingly off.
I won't be happy to use them again. They have time and again refused to learn and improve customer service.

They make me feel like they are doing me a favour when i have actually paid for the service to be delivered. It wasn't for free Jobyco!

I am extremely disappointed with Jobyco

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Jobyco I trusted them to safely transport my goods, but they arrived severely damaged due to their negligence. Despite following their claims process and providing all necessary evidence, they flat-out refused to take responsibility or compensate me.

What makes this experience worse is their lack of accountability and poor customer service. My attempts to escalate the issue were met with dismissive responses and unhelpful attitudes. It’s clear that customer satisfaction and professionalism are not their priorities.

If you value your goods and peace of mind, avoid Jobyco Shipping at all costs. Their service is unreliable, and they will leave you high and dry when something goes wrong. A truly appalling experience!"

We hold our customers in high regard and have made the decision to compensate those whose items were damaged while in our care, provided that the items are new and securely packed by the manufacturer. In your case, the package did not meet these criteria, which we have clarified in our previous emails over the past few weeks. We believe that explaining our terms and conditions is essential and does not reflect dismissiveness or poor customer service.

Any customer who has submitted a claim for damage, once it is verified that the item is new and manufacturer-packed, has been compensated within six weeks.

Terrible Service and Wasted My Entire…

Terrible Service and Wasted My Entire Day
I am extremely disappointed with Jobyco. They sent me a text stating they would collect my goods today, so I rearranged my entire schedule and stayed home all day waiting for them. Not only did they fail to show up, but there was no communication or update to explain the delay.

This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. People's time is valuable, and keeping a customer waiting the whole day without any explanation is simply disrespectful. I would not recommend Jobyco to anyone looking for reliable service.

We have gathered more information regarding your situation.

We spoke with the driver who was scheduled to collect your items on December 28th. He attempted to call you but was unable to reach you, which led him to reschedule your pickup for a different date. We understand that you later contacted him, and although he was finished with his other collections, he informed you that he couldn't come at that time. However, he assured you that he would make it a point to pick up your items during his next working shift and that's exactly what he did on the 31st of December.

Very rude drivers who have no respect…

Very rude drivers who have no respect for clients.
Clients have to chase them and they have no customer service experience nor understand the UK consumer law about how to treat customers.
I am very surprised about their attitude to clients in this mordern UK.
Really bad customer service and bad manners.

The reception/ office Team are great and respect customers on the phone. They are also very polite and kind.

The drivers need education and training on customer service. They behave as if they are rather doing you a favour forgetting that without client/ customers there will be no business as such to employ them. That customers come first and need to be treated with respect and kindness.

I have

I have , used this company for the past few years, due to the quality of their service and closeness to my house in Ghana.

However, their services appears to be getting worse each month. I have been frustrated recently with their services.

Delays and no communication. I did book my collection which was due last week Saturday. However, there was no contact from the driver , the collection was postponed to Sunday. When I called the driver last Sunday , he told me , he will attend but did not show up. All my subsequent calls went to voicemail.
I rebooked my collection for today. Just called the driver, and apparently somewhere in London and unsure if my items will be picked up today.

Meanwhile, I spent last Saturday, Sunday and still at home waiting . Absolutely, redicoulouse

I feel, sorry for the customer, service lady as it’s not her fault.

What a service!

it’s too bad

Since the man died in June 2024 the company delays in delivering goods to customers ! Do not use them or else your shipment will take up to 6 weeks or more to arrive!
This incompetence has nothing to do with the “high seas”. Example, this container (J0157071) has been at the Tema port for about 3 weeks and has not been cleared and no email is sent to customers to apologize for the delays !

Trust worthy

This company was recommended to me by a friend and am happy I patronize them.
Am here to give my review. So the delivery guys called my husband and told him the items will he delivered after Easter. But after letting you people know that the items were for the festive season my items were

delivered before Easter thus two days after telling you.

I am happy you people took my interest into consideration.

You guys do not just wants the money you also thinks about your clients.

I recently sent a large shipment to Accra using Jobyco and the entire experience was seamless from collection at the allocated store in London through to delivery in Ghana and all within 4 weeks. Thank you very much Jobyco - I will definitely be using your services again!

My Expensive damaged Chair

They shipped my expensive chair to Ghana and they damaged it. They charged me extra to use bubble wrap which I paid £40 which they never used. The chair was just 6 months old. They asked me to insure the chair against accidental damage. I paid for it and the chair was damaged before they delivered it. Their office in Ghana called me to confirm the damage before delivery and they said they will repair it but now they are saying because it is second hand I am not covered by insurance. Customers should be notified of their hidden damage claim. People have contacted me with the bad service they have received from you and even a lady friend said you damaged her television going to Kumasi. I will dare you to come on Hot Digital FM radio station to speak to some of your customers. Your service is not acceptable and over priced compared to other shippers to Ghana. I will never use your servic again as you are incompetent. I can organize a radio show on HOT Digital Fm which is a Ghanaian radio station for customers to call in. You charge me £40 to use bubble wrap on my chair and you used cling film. You should learn to be responsible taking peoples items abroad. Your deliver men said you always damage peoples item and my was not th only damaged item in the container. You should learn to be professional and improve your customer service.

Jobyco does our very best to satisfy our Ghanaian clientele who give us whatever they want to send back home. We struggle to ship certain things but we do because we are a Ghanaian company and know the situation at home.

The chairs were wrapped and you can attest to that fact. Wrapping of used items is to prevent scratching in the container and not necessarily prevent damage.

We can also confirm our office in Ghana called you to inform you about the damage but did not give any assurance of repairs as you claim.

Jobyco has no "hidden damage claim" as we ensure customers even at the point of booking understand some of our T&Cs.

In the UK every invoice, even till receipts has the company's T&C at the back, or a website pointing to their full Terms of Trade. You would have gotten the receipt after you had bought the item and have been committed. Ignorance would not be an excuse but the system is such that every Tesco item you buy is subjected to their terms and conditions. The person at the till does not explain anything concerning this before they take your money.

Jobyco has taken a further step of publishing at the bottom of our invoice, the most likely scenarios for the benefit of our customers even though the same is found at the back of it. We expect our customers to acquaint themselves before they sign. Our experience is that they do.

Booked a collection of my boxes to be shipped to Ghana. Not my first time with Jobyco & I wasn't disappointed.
Courage arrived, having called me and given me an expected time of arrival. He was polite, friendly and extremely helpful.
I find Jobyco's prices to be very competitive and I would highly recommend them.
My goods have always arrived on time and intact (in fact, I shall be calling them tomorrow to book the collection of my sofas).
Jobyco is a tried and trusted reliable company, with polite respectful staff.
It's a pleasure dealing with them.

Disappointment

I shipped a box to Ghana via Jobyco and when the box was delivered it was opened and later discovered that items such as washing up liquid and dove bathing liquid soap were missing from the box. This is very disappointing and does not speak well of Jobyco as a company.

I wish I didn’t have to deal with these…

I wish I didn’t have to deal with these people. They are so rude. They never turn up. It’s been 3 weeks and 3 attempts and still my items haven’t been collected. They shout at you and hang up the phone and when you speak the office staff they don’t care and furthermore cannot do anything about it. Rasta is the ONLY person who is courteous and kind. There is no customer service at all.

Exceptional Service

I have been using Jobyco since 2010 and am also impressed by their professionalism. I use their boxes/barrels and follow all instructions to the letter and all my goods get to Ghana intact. This week Sister Rose was exceptional in ensuring that I received the barrel which I ordered a bit late. Mr Kofi Takyi Bobie arrive this Morning with the barrel and boxes and went beyond the call of duty to pack them for me. Thank you both, I greatly appreciate it.
