Johan Lolos is an extraordinary photographer whose work brilliantly captures the beauty of the natural world. I had the privilege of attending his photography workshops in Lofoten, Norway (2018) and Masai Mara, Kenya (2021), and both were truly unforgettable experiences.
In Lofoten, Johan guided us through breathtaking Arctic landscapes, teaching us how to capture the region's wild beauty with skill and creativity. His patient, detailed instruction made complex techniques accessible, and his passion for photography was truly inspiring.
In Masai Mara, Johan’s expertise in wildlife photography shone through. He led us to incredible opportunities to photograph Africa’s iconic animals while emphasizing ethical and respectful practices. Johan is an incredible guide for your photo adventure. What makes Johan such a terrific guide is that he's able to and willing to prioritize your experience over his own shots on location—something that's incredibly difficult to do as a professional photographer.

Johan is patient with newcomers and can get into the nitty gritty with more experienced photographers, creating a fantastic experience regardless of your skill level. I had a terrific time on Johan's Lofoten workshop years ago, and some of my photos from that trip are still some of my favorites I've ever taken.

I can't recommend this experience enough, and look forward to the next workshop I go on.
