What a fabulous service, doctor always on hand to discuss issues. Coaches are realistic and supportive. This really changed my life for the better, it wasn’t just the physical good health but also the impact on my mental health. If I could give 6 stars out of 5 I would !

I’ve enjoyed the time with Embla and my coach, Robin. It was easy to get started and arrange appointments with Robin who was good to provide insight and assistance!

I joined Embla back at the end of 2022, I had regained weight I had lost before the COVID lockdowns and lost my healthy habits. But thanks to the guides and advice from Embla. I had a someone at my back to help me get back onto my feet.

Since then, I’ve lost a total of 30kg while going through many life events that could have caused me to fall back into my old bad habits.
I’ve ended learning more about how my body functions and even understand more about how certain foods help us. And I’ve gotten back a bit of my old self as some of my favorite shirts fit comfortably again. Which has boosted my confidence 😊
I can highly recommend this program just for the coaching they provide, as being able to text with someone or have video meetings with to talk about weight loss has been super. With Embla you have someone at your back and you won’t feel completely alone when you walk on the journey to weight loss.

This has been the weight loss experience I’ve had and I’ve done many. Great coaches, dietitians and prescribers. I feel like h I have a whole team rooting for me. I’m not quite four weeks in and already lost 10lbs. It’s been amazing!

Terrible bizzare service. Firstly I was assured that I was speaking to a doctor/GP for my care. Only after confirming for the third time following a concern, I was advised a mistake occurred and this was only a pharmacist. They initially advertised the service as a GP would oversee my care. Once I complained, they even removed this section from their phone application. My first order didn’t arrive, they sent out another order, for this to be the incorrect dose for which was prescribed. I would not recommend. Embla are a tech business with human moderation. Having raised millions allegedly from high net worth individuals, VC and PE funding - the realisation in my personal opinion is that it’s similar to cheaper alternative online pharmacies or weight loss services.
The business incentives members to leave positive reviews through discounts offered. Hence, circa 98% super positive feedback on this platform.
Following the official complaint I have made regarding incorrect medication, they’ve chosen to terminate their contract, advising that it’s a matter for the manufacturer. They provided a full refund. I cynically think, this could be so I do not follow up in relation to the misrepresentation of their GPs. I’m not normally committed enough to review products or services, though I do feel due to the nature of what Embla offer (healthcare); it’s important to share my personal viewpoint. I would hope there are other credible review which have experienced something different. Just remember…nothing beats a service which is upfront, honest and has significant credibility attached. Research, research, research 👍🏻

My problem is that I like good food and eat more than my body needs. The medication / injection helps to re-program my brain to know when I have eaten enough. I joined about 6 month ago and the Embla team is very helpful and supportive on my journey to a healthier weight. I learned to eat a better diet with many different dishes but not restricting me too much in terms of what I like to eat and drink. As weight is not just going down in a straight line over any period and there are ups and downs, the Embla team is always approachable with help. My weight goes down steadily, not too fast or too slow and as a bonus I am not anymore pre-diabetic.

I’m a more complex client for weight loss injections due to my history. Embla took this seriously and rather than just shutting me down and rejecting me straight away, went and discussed my case with relevant people prior to accepting me. I really liked this approach as it showed a client centred approach where they took the time to know the individual rather than use blanket policies.
I’m pleased to say that Mounjaro is working for me, and I have no side effects. The “food noise”- the constant what can I eat now- has lifted for the first time in my life which is amazing. And I am losing weight safely under supervision of my Embla coach and Embla Dr.
I can’t recommend Embla Embla enough, from the ease of use from logging food and drink into the app, to having discussions with your team. It’s all very easy and straight forward.

Embla is a great and balanced approach to weight loss. I lost 14 kg and learnt a lot from my personal coach, Anna, who was always there for me. I think the company has a really healthy and holistic approach to weight loss as a journey to get healthier and nothing gets bogged down in calorie counting or focus on weight. I felt like my coach was both a nutritionist and my own cheerleader. She was so positive and encouraging even when I was hesitant at first.

Effective, sustainable and empowering weight loss programme. My mentor Rosie Simpson was fantastic at guiding me through the process, providing me with motivation and genuine support and clarifying any of my queries. I loved the “non calorie” approach to the weight loss and having such a hands on and supportive mentor, like Rosie made the world of difference to me
