A rare excellent service

Excellent communication with administrative staff followed by a personal call from the chief engineer who took me though some simple tests for my Barazza gas hob. This saved JES an unnecessary call out and a needless charge for me.

JES, were courteous, fair and efficient. A rare service in a harsh world. I would highly recommend this company.

Many thanks for your review. We always do our best to help resolve issues over the telephone where possible, as long as it’s safe to do so and there’s no risk of danger.

At J.E.S, we aim to diagnose problems remotely first rather than arranging a visit that may not be necessary. If we can guide you through a few checks or steps on the phone and get things working again, we’re happy to do that, as it helps avoid unnecessary cost and inconvenience.

It’s about being honest and upfront.

Shocking customer service

Shocking customer service. Was left shaking and upset after being shouted at for not reading my emails properly, and not paying the full price up front before they arrived. Tried to reason with them and offered 50%. Have never been asked to pay full price for any possible work, and then have to wait for a refund. I didn't trust them as felt bullied. Don't think they would have spoken to my husband in the same way, if he'd been home

Please understand I am personally disappointed by your review. However, I must strongly disagree with your statement about myself.; it is not accurate. We are more than happy to help you as I have highlighted in an email, but we do require payment in advance of a service visit, because at no stage did you acknowledge via email that you wanted to proceed with a service call. Unfortunately, a verbal acknowledgement is not acceptable to us at J.E.S.

We decide to declined the service visit for this reason alone and because of this you decide to place a review on Trust-pilot, even after all this, we are more than happy to help you.

Please Note - Mrs Vick has not used J.E.S for any services apart from receiving a quote.

Replacemnt of Bora Ceramic Glass Hob

Joint Electrical Services Ltd recently replaced my Bora ceramic glass hob, and the whole experience was outstanding. Communication was smooth, the process was handled professionally, and the quality of service was first‑class.
A special mention goes to Michael, the engineer who carried out the work. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. His approach made the whole process easy and stress‑free, and his professionalism was genuinely appreciated.
Highly recommended—first‑rate service and a great team.

Exceptional experience

I have no hesitation in recommending Joint Electrical Services Ltd. I recently had a problem with a combi oven I purchased and imported from Italy. JES Ltd dealt with the company on my behalf and rectified the fault in a timely fashion. I couldn't have wished for a better experience. Thank you

I cannot speak too highly of JES. Their operatives worked long and hard to service our 30 year old Godin cooker and did an absolutely excellent job. It's like new now. They also put down mats and left the kitchen spotless. Thank you guys.

Great service

A Really Great Company with Knowledgeable and Skilled Staff

We are reaching the end of a major house rebuild/renovation. We have had every trade imaginable working on the house in the past year and a half, and although we are happy with the overall outcome, we have had some very disappointing experiences with companies we have worked with. JES however were amazing. We contacted them to come to install our new Bora hob. They made sure that they had all the information they needed and requested photos of the location it was to be installed. Then we had a detailed call which covered all aspects of the install down to what colour silicone was to be used. The installer was clearly very experienced with this quite specialist hob and we were very quickly impressed with his skill and attention to detail. The finished result was perfect. The whole process was so stress-free it was something quite unfamiliar to us after so many bad experiences! We would definitely come back to them for any further electrical work we might need doing.

Had a fault develop with our Bora hob

Had a fault develop with our Bora hob. Spoke to their customer service the next morning to book a repair under warranty. Within a couple of hours Anne from JES had called me to tell me someone would be with me first thing the next day. Then received an email to confirm details, followed by a text message the morning of, telling me precisely when the technician would arrive. Michael was prompt, extremely tidy and careful, got straight to the issue, showed us what it was and fixed it and was gone within an hour. Impeccable service all round.

Top notch warranty repair

Michael repaired our Bora hob after it developed a fault. The service was impressive both in terms of communication beforehand and the work on the day. The circuit board was swapped out and the hob was working again. We couldn't expect any better. Many thanks and keep up the good work.
