I love my therapist. She’s better by far than my previous therapist.
My therapist was very kind and seemed like she genuinely wanted to help. However, this company feels predatory. I was told with my BCBS insurance, I would have to pay a $40 copay per visit which I was fine with. I was baited into paying my copay immediately, with them threatening to cancel my future appointments if I didn’t. So I added a card, paid my copay, then got a notice that I was charged $184 without my permission. I thought maybe it was a fluke? First visit fees? etc. Then I got billed the same $184 on the next visit. I also felt like my therapist would pressure me into scheduling another appointment each session when I started off saying I wanted two sessions per month maximum. Then I did my research and found out that the therapists lose their benefits if they do not schedule at least 25 sessions per week. When I received an “invoice” for my payments, I found it was literally $184 for ONE session. This is nowhere near what I discussed with intake. Feels like “drive thru therapy” to me. Overall not a good experience and I do not recommend this company.
I absolutely love my therapist, Desiree! She is truly a Godsend; an answered prayer at this season of my life! I am very grateful!
It’s been great to finally have consular who not only helps me identify the root of my problems but also helps me come up with an action plan l.
