DO NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS.. NOT EVEN LOYAL ONES. KEEP YOUR MONEY
I’ve ordered from them 3 times and tried to support the company because I felt it was unique. Unfortunately, There is nothing unique about this rude company. There has not been a single order in which I didn’t have to email the team for them to put it through. The ordering process was tricky because The website is BUGS GALORE. You can’t search for a rental date without unavailable pieces coming up in the search. When you go to checkout, only THEN it will tell you that the items in your cart are unavailable. I even once had to drive 50 minutes to a UPS carrier (that’s all they use) to get my package on time since they sent it late. Even so, I still remained loyal after that…
Wardrobe took a break, without alerting any customers for the past few months. I reached out via email to see if I could get an update on the company’s return- In hopes of renting for an upcoming special occasion. I never received a response for two weeks. So I dm via instagram since they have responded to me there in the past.
I said “Your customers are waiting for an update or response at the very least” and “What is it you want?” Was the response I was given... THEN THEY LAUGHED AT THE MESSAGE I SENT WITH LAUGHING EMOJIS. I could not believe my eyes! I have never spent hundreds of dollars with any company in my life, reached out numerous times to complete my order, driven two hours for a mis-shipped package, and STILL SUPPORT and be treated so RUDE when simply asking for a response to an email- stating how loyal of a customer I am.
There are other companies that do the same thing like “Vivrelle” or “BagBorrow or Steal” that don’t shut down unexpectedly, have great customer service, and BETTER selection. Wardrobe had heavily used and scratched vintage items. Amazon now has luxury items with prime shipping too.
I say, Save your money, and spend it with companies that at least know how to treat the people funding their businesses.
**UPDATE: Within 20 minutes, I already have a rental set up with Bag Borrow Steal and I didn’t have to email their customer service 3x to put the order through
