I found the staff very helpful when I went to order some shirts. They were on offer, but I had lost the offer details. They soon found what I needed and I was able to choose the shirts I wanted. I was impressed with the quality, when I received my first order so I put in a further order. All shirts were dispatched promptly.

Good quality goods, helpful staff and attention to detail.

Last summer I switched from Charles Tyrwhitt as they were increasingly going 'slim fit' on their regular range and coupled to increasing products from China had had enough. I gave JT a try from a Private Eye ad and finding the online process tedious called and spoke to an immensely help woman who answered all my questions and they received an order for over £600..
It all arrived as promised, I ordered a summer and winter weight of deck shoes, started with the summer weight. By the way the unstructured linen jacket's inside pocket does not take a mobile phone, annoying.
With winter beginning I switched to the sturdier winter shoes and put the summer ones away. In the first week the left shoe developed an annoying squeak and I thought it was just bedding in etc so left it for a while but it didn't, and reminded my of the crocodile in Peter Pan! Anyway, whilst walking home one night the noise was so annoying I phoned up and explained the issue. At first they said it was the surface I was walking on, but it was only the left one! Got the distinct feeling I was being fobbed off so tried standing the noise again... no good, so phoned again and spoke to the helpful woman who took my original order. She was more sympathetic and explained how they could be returned for assessment, which I did.
They apparently went back to the manufacturer and JT returned the original shoes with the following (shortened) explanation; the shoes are designed for decks so may squeak on different surfaces, try putting baby powder on the soles before wearing, are they for real!! Only one shoe squeaks, is the other one on a deck in another space time zone, spooky!!
This all sounds petty to some I'm sure, but the level of 'fobbing off' instead of sorting the issue astounds me and is bad business sense as they've lost my custom, I was going to place another large order that will now go elsewhere. Let's hope they remove my details better than the review below, as I didn't get a response to my request for them to do so..

I have always liked Turner's clothing to buy for my husband - who is somewhat conservative in dress and very particular about comfort as well as style, but hates shopping himself. Having already bought a pair of corduroy trousers and a hat for him, I ordered 3xpairs of the same trousers in a sale. One of them was slightly too tight around the waist and I returned them even though the difference was very slight. I was very pleased to receive a pair that fitted perfectly - excellent service -

Good choice of items, sensibly priced, with prompt delivery.

I had a slight problem ordering on line, then my bank did not complete my payment. This was probably my fault, but I made the order by telephone and that was fine. Everything else was great including the pullover.

I have ordered shirts and trousers from JT before and always found them good value well made, so I was a bit disappointed when my latest purchase of 2 pairs of moleskin jeans arrived. They look all right and the colour and fit is good, but the material is too light weight for a pair of jeans! I use my old pair for gardening , walking and doing all sorts of jobs but whether or not these will last is doubtful.

Trousers arrived promptly and were good quality. Had to return some because of size, free return and prompt refund.

And importantly the trousers were made in Portugal where I trust labour and environmental standards are good.

Will definitely buy again.

Great quality product IMHO, solid service

The service was very good and the product was also of good quality. Unfortunately the jumper was too big but we were able to return it free of charge which we were very pleased about.
