The Pioneer Gas Station at 5 Main Street Markham N, Markham, ON L3P 1X3 needs to learn customer service, specifically the manager .
I went there to fill air in my tires, placed $2.50 in the machine only to find the machine hose is broken and defective, no sign indicating out of order. I spoke to the cashier asked for a refund, he recommended I speak to the manager. The manager said the machine is managed by the city and has nothing to do with them. He refused to refund my money; he simply brushed it off as my problem even though this is a service product on their premises. He made no effort to provide support and missed an opportunity to show empathy and provide assistance for proper customer service.
I consider this to be a scandalous and improper business conduct. I may have lost just $2.50 but it is nothing compared to the fuel sales and mechanical jobs they will lose on a go forward basis.
Disappointed customer.
