I signed up believing I was paying for a one-time service based on the advertisement. The offer was misleading, and I later discovered that it was a membership I was not interested in at all.
After canceling, an additional charge was taken from my card without my authorization. This was unacceptable and caused unnecessary stress and wasted time.
Only after escalation and multiple communications did a representative named Kenny reach out and process a cancellation and promise a refund as a “special exception.” While I appreciate the follow-up, this situation should not have happened in the first place.
Customers should be clearly informed before payment, and no charges should ever be made without explicit consent. Transparency and authorization are basic requirements, not exceptions.
