I needed a very large amount of my library (approximately seventy-five 7 gallon storage bins’ worth) packed up and put into storage. This couldn’t be done driving back and forth in a car service. It required professionals who could handle the job quickly and carefully. JP Urban Moving came through. Everyone — from the switchboard to the crew handling the bins — were super. Everything was communicated clearly and handled carefully. I knew my library was in good hands. They delivered the entire load to my storage unit and sent photos of all the bins safely in place. My WORST fear is moving. So much stress and mess and decisions to make. I haven't moved a lot, but have worked with moving companies each time. Those were fine, but the stress and worries about secret fees and my belongings getting lost or damaged was - a lot! OK now here comes JP Urban Moving. Their moving consultants were clear, transparent, patient kind. Really expert and accessible. Dispatch process was awesome. Packing and unpacking services and handling of some tricky, valuable items - all went so well. The crew was great. Moving fears gone! Happy to refer them and for sure will use them, and only them, next time I move. Oh - the crew was cat and dog friendly too!

When my wife and were moving from our 4 bedroom house to a two story walk up, a friend recommended JP Urban. "Trust me. They're great." And she was right. Contacted them on line, filled in the form - easy peasy. Chis, our moving consultant got back to us quickly. Their estimate was more than reasonable. The day of the move they were on time, polite, careful and caring, yet I never saw movers work so quickly and so well together. They moved like the Nets on a fast break. It was a slam dunk. By late afternoon, we were in our apartment, furniture in place, toasting our new home with wine and pizza.
Fast forward a year, I volunteered to help a NGO move their retreat center from up state New York to Westchester. No movers up there were big enough to do the job. Most places in the city refused as well due to travel time over the two or three days they estimated it would take to pack up. I called JP Urban and explained the challenge. The next day they had a plan. There crew was willing to sleep over, cutting travel time to less than half. Pack up one day, travel the next. It worked great. They did their moving magic (3 trucks, two days, 1 round trip). The NGO could not believe how little they were charged.
Since then I recommend them every chance I get. They haven't disappointed yet.

Hands down the best moving company I’ve worked with. Great customer service and really nice, responsible employees.
