I recently urgently needed a heat pump installed and contacted JR, gas and water. They were fantastic at meeting my niece and getting the installation done in the same day. Fantastic workmanship when they installed the heat pump.

I had the iStore 270L heat pump installed last week to replace an older Quantum unit which had gone past the end of its usable life. The unit was installed by JR Gas and Water in Brisbane. The unit is a fair bit quieter than the old system and the installation was completed fairly quickly. I can't manage to connect the system to the wifi and am constantly stuck on a loading screen before I can enter the wifi password through the app, but otherwise the system looks fairly easy to use.

I found the website fairly easy to use in terms of choosing between the different units, but the options in terms of installation could have been a bit clearer. I had a bit of back and forth with Jarred over email which helped to resolve the queries regarding the type of installation required.

The installers did a good job and did not take too long. I had my own electrician finish off the connection, but JR do offer that service if you don't have that option.

Guys turned up did a great job, took away my old unit and cover. Left the area tidy. Couldn’t really ask for better service. I asked to pay but they advised I’d get an invoice. Pump works like a dream and no longer any clunky noise.

The things I like most include: transparency of pricing & competitive price, easiness in placing orders, and the AI chatbot which is fast and helpful in answering your questions 24/7. There is a phone number and an email where you can get in touch with the real person support staff if there are any problem, e.g., re-scheduling.

How easy can it get? With everything done on line, supplying photos of the old hot water system to be replaced, its location etc, all I had to do was say what brand and size of new hot water system, and the quote came through quickly, complete with discounts for prompt payment and being flexible with installation day.
