Fantastic every time!!

I've bought from jrpass.co.uk (aka H.I.S London) a total of 6 times and it has always been a positive experience. I've used this website since 2016. They usually offer the best prices, usually a few quid cheaper than other places I've seen online. I've bought the ordinary passes (7 and 21 days). The 5 day Northern Kyushu Rail Pass, and the 7 day JR Hokkaido Rail Pass. I always opt to collect in person, it's easier for me to pop into their office (H.I.S) after work since they are located in between Liverpool street and Bank station. But during 2016 I picked up from their old office in North Audley Street. Once your exchange order is ready for collection you'll get an email. Just show a member of staff your confirmation email and passport, they'll have your order ready in an envelope which will also contain your receipt, a map and list of JR offices and instructions/rules. When you arrive in Japan, you just have to activate your pass by visiting any JR ticket office. H.I.S have always provided me with great customer service every time. Staff members are very friendly, polite and efficient. I have also bought from them pocket wifi on 2 separate occasions. Just like the JR pass I had to exchange the voucher for the actual device but at a designated wifi counter at my chosen airport in Japan. All instructions and maps were inside the envelope I was given so I knew exactly where I had to go when I landed. More recently I purchased pocket wifi to be collected at KIX but my drop off point was Naha Airport in December 2019. Originally I rented 8 days worth of usage, but a month before my holiday my return flight was cancelled and the best option my airline could do was put me on a flight the day after my original return date, which then gave me an extra day in Okinawa. When I landed in KIX I asked the member of staff at the wifi counter to extend my wifi contract for an extra day and she agreed, I signed the form and paid an extra 500-600 Yen. Overall, the service was very flexible, easy and hassle free. The pocket wifi has good coverage throughout Japan, I've used it during my travels to Hokkaido with no problems. Even on islands like Ishigaki I got great coverage. Once it's safe to travel again, I will go back to Jrpass.co.uk / H.I.S to order another JR pass for future travels to Japan!! 5/5. Thank you for making my travels to Japan for the past 4 years amazing and super convenient!
