I am very pleased with this purchase. I want the machine for walking only. It works well from 2kmph through to speed walking. It folds away completely flat which is great because when it’s down it fills the floor space. It’s very heavy to lift upright though. I can do it now but down the line I can foresee difficulties. I wish I’d gone down this route earlier because it’s wonderful to have it in the house and daily speed walking has vastly improved my mobility and balance. It comes flat packed and unpacking it is a 2 man job. Be aware that 17stone is the maximum weight tolerance.

Delighted with my purchase so far and still discovering all the various programmes and incline possibilities as I am a complete beginner to treadmills; currently using for power walking to feel completely comfortable before progressing to a jog or more. The convenience of having a machine at home lm finding invaluable. Appears to be very well made, sturdy and pretty heavy so I can’t imagine collapsing it down after each session, but the idea that one could, if you wanted to reclaim the space is appealing. This was definitely an investment and no doubt when the weather is too awful to walk/run outside it will be a pleasure to use. No regrets so far!

The JTX RunRise is a really good value, lower mid-range treadmill. It has all the features most people would need, with a clear 16" LCD screen, 12 preset programmes, a top speed of 18 km/h and 12 levels of powered incline. The controls - speed on the right, incline on the left - are responsive and allow you to easily set your chosen value, as well as defeating automatic [app or programme] changes with a single touch. I usually walk manually or use their built in programmes. Although JTX can only recommend Zwift and Kinomap, I have also discovered a free compatible iOS app - FitShow - which controls both incline and speed: all without needing a subscription! In use, the treadmill is quiet and comfortable to walk on (as a non-runner, at 71, I won't be using anywhere near it's top speed). It is very well built and, if I chose to, could fold it flat in no time. The only thing I am unsure of is the pulse sensor, which usually shows lower rates than my Apple Watch. I think this is an ideal treadmill for my needs and I strongly suspect it will suffice for many potential users. Don't forget their sales team are very knowledgeable and very helpful. You even get a two year warranty, with engineer support. Try getting that on Amazon. A great product, buy with confidence.

Speedy delivery (next day after ordering) and excellent customer service/advice. A very good treadmill which feels sturdy and of excellent quality. I bought a rubber mat to place it on which I think is an important consideration. The machine has a decent sized running deck (I’m 5’11”) and I’m pleased that I didn’t order the XL version. The controls are intuitively arranged and react speedily to inputs. The preset speeds are easy to use, it’s worth pointing out that when increasing or decreasing the speed (via the presets of 5/10/15) one touch of the manual speed arrow on the handle will halt the speed as it transitions, e.g. when decreasing from say present 10 to preset 5 it can be halted at any speed in between by one press of the manual handle/side button which is of great benefit if your desired walking/running pace lies between the presets. An initial minor glitch (belt adjustment) was corrected promptly following a visit by a JTX treadmill engineer; it’s worth noting that he was a JTX employee rather ‘an outsourced’ engineer the advantage being he had in-depth knowledge about the machine and JTX treadmills. It’s worth noting that being sturdy these treadmills are quite heavy to lift but once folded are easy to position by virtue of the little caster/wheels.
