Still waiting for my deposit
Booked a collection and paid a £40 deposit. He said he would come in the morning hr never showed. He finally called late afternoon. He told me he can’t come until the following week. We were moving house in a few days. I cancelled him.

I will process the refund shortly. This will be sent from square payments and can take between 7 & 10 working days.
I still haven’t got my refund they won’t even return my calls.
He was doin a collection in the morning and then coming to us.
Hi Simon. Sorry I missed your call we was on a collection. This has completely filled the van up. Being a Saturday I can empty it untill Monday. This was supposed to be a small load but turned into 1/2 a load.

Hi Simon, that doesn't sound correct we book collections for an all day appointment between 8am - 5pm. Refunds are sent using square payments. if you can send your booking details over to info@junkmunch.co.uk we can look into to his for you. Our old mobile number is no longer in use as we now use a company number.
Thats WhatsApp automatics reply, you have conveniently left that part out in your reply above. There is no disagreeing, we sent you the refund on the day we said we would, we are glad you have finally received it.

I was promised a disposal note and did not receive anything. It's very important to us that the waste is disposed of appropriately. Also, the operator set his stopwatch immediately and we got the impression there was little or no flexibility in terms of additional charges if the work took longer than 15 minutes (it didn't).

Hi Steven, That doesn't sound correct, i can see the waste transfer note on our side on Sep 7, 2023, 9:32 AM (4 days ago) and that you signed it off.
If you can message us with your email address ill make sure its correct as they are sent out automatically, we haven't received any message since we last spoke otherwise we could of checked this for you.
With regards to the labour, this is something we have to do as soon as we arrive so we can prove how long a collection takes, this collection took exactly 15 minutes from arrival so there was no additional charge for you to pay.

DO NOT USE!!! Paid my £40 deposit told him the waste is on the drive he emailed me saying he is 20/30 minutes away he turned up and left and told me it was a wasted journey because I wasn’t there even though on the booking form it says they do kerbside if you are not there. He then gets you on a technicality saying I need to be there and pay up. Well wait for the reply to this and he will say the same. ABSOLUTE SCAM

Hi Connor, We did message you 20/30 minutes before we arrived, we do this so you are aware we are coming and to ensure you are available.
We had no response and no one was home for the collection, We waited over 10 minutes and had to leave, Your deposit is used to cover the 30 minutes travel time and fuel. This is far from a scam! and not a technicality.
We absolutely would of much preferred to of made the collection! We would benefit far more than £40! it makes no sense to just leave on arrival.
The booking form clearly states, full payment can be made on completion of the collection, Not hours or days later, and this is always done with cash or card. We are sorry you feel scammed but we was happy to rearrange however you decided to cancel.

The guys removed two sofas quickly and efficiently. They were friendly, prompt ( they told me when they were on the way), booking and paying was simple, quick and hassle free, in fact all good. I have saved the number would recommend the company and would definitely use them again.
