Avoid at all costs. This company popped up when I was…

This company popped up when I was attempting to contact the manufacturer of my Samsung washing machine. They claimed they were autherised to work on behalf of Samsung. For an initial refundable repayment of £1, I could talk to an engineer. They claimed that for an additional £16 an engineer would be able to talk with me. No use what so ever. When I checked my bank account a few days later, they had taken out £39. Which given the fact that I am a pensioner and can ill afford to throw money away like that, I am now down by £40 plus the cost of a new washing machine. To add insult to injury , they will continue to take out £39 each month until stopped. Please read the other reviews of this obvious scam company.

I AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

I contacted JustAnswer via ExpressVPN to get an answer concerning an IT issue. I was asked to pay £1 and received an answer quickly from an expert. I then asked to cancel the contract on the same day and paid £9.95 via Paypal to a company called Unsubby which I thought was quite steep. I received several emails confirmung receipt of payment and confirmation that I had cancelled. Today, 23 January 2026, I received a call from Nationwide to say that an attempt had been made to take £35 from my account. I confirmed that I had not made this purchase and Nationwide blocked JustAnswer. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!

I can hardl believe how greedy Just…

I can hardly believe how greedy Just Answer is. My cats caught a baby Robin whic i managed to rescue but not before it was hurt. I put it in a bowl and it is trying to flutter but it looks as if its tail feathers are gone and I asked a vet whst to do. I am a very poor old age pensioner but these people wanted £10 just a to answer 3 questions ( which they didnt answer i.e Whatton do with the bird?) ANd the costs are ongoing. They are NOT here to help wildlife, the vets are here to help themselves only and charge alot. I am so disgusted with them and as I don't know what to do its unlikely the little creature will survive and I am so sad about that. I will put it on leaves on some earth with twigs and pray it will survive. I will ask a pet shop what to feed it. And pray tha if it is going to die it will die quickly and pain-free. I am so so disgustedc with Just Answer and the vets. Everyone needs to make a living but this is just pure greed.

BEWARE JustAnswer

According to some reviews you may find JustAnswer helpful if you need the services they offer but they operate in an underhand manner.
I went on line to ask The White Company about one of their products and a 'technician' picked up my mail and offered to help but asked me to pay £1 so this could happen. I paid using a credit card and subsequently discovered that this automatically made me a member of JustAnwer who immediately took £32 from my account and advised that this would be a monthly fee. Being an 87 year old pensioner I emailed JustAnswer, explained the situation and asked for a refund. Apparently no way was that going to happen so my bank helped me stop any further payment to the company, something they do quite regularly for other customer using JustAnswer. You have been warned.

Be extremely careful

I want to warn people not to use this service unless they are extremely careful that they have not unwittingly been put onto the subscription service at £50 per month. I have lost £150 this way despite being very careful to only pay for the question not a subscription. £50 has now been refunded but they will no longer respond to my requests for evidence of my commitment to the subscription service.

just answer is a scam.

I wanted legal advice and was asked to pay using my card before being put through to a lawyer. I put in my payment details and the payment was declined by my bank. The bank rank and asked if i had attempted to make the payment and I said yes but not for the amount they tried to take. This site had the little closed padlock at the top. When I tried to contact the company, it was impossible and there is no tel No. I was told that they take a payment and then without your knowledge they set up a standing monthly order.
My card was blocked by the bank and now I have to wait for a new one. Something I forgot to add. I asked the bank why someone would try to scam such a relatively small amount and they said, they take the initial payment then set it up so that they take that money out of your bank account on a monthly basis.

Not helpful, possibly a scam

I had a problem with my iPad. I looked for some help. Just answers did not solve the problem but I had paid a pound for a trial that lasted for three days since then I have been charged £39 and it looks as though this is going to be a recurring amount. I have asked the bank to not pay the £39 that I was charged and definitely not to pay on a recurring situation.

This is a scam

This is a scam. Say they charge £1 but actually enrol you to a subscription of £35/month without your permission. You have to be very persistent to get your money back. Avoid.

Blocked them Via my Bank; Called "JustAnswer"; An American woman acting like a machine refunded £ Asap. They know they are doing Wrong, Avoid; You will pay monthly for subscription you never agreed to once they have your Bank details; 12 x 55 = £660 year.

£1 = £35 monthly billing after 3 days

© 2003-2025 JustAnswer LLC. All rights reserved.
440 N Barranca Ave #7508, Covina, CA 91723 but this is the address listed in my email "Your answer is on the way! Email technicians are currently reviewing your question and will respond shortly." There seems to be many versions or country frachises of 'JustAnswer' on trust pilot to review? USA, or EU or UK and more for each country? Now if you need a doctor in a country that does not have free health care this service seems to be the only thing worth signing up for - if I is not a fake version... I Signed up for 1£ to ask one question that referred me to a freelance pro who quoted me directly via my email, (all of which I already googled) who's service was overpriced and overrated. I was pestered and told the 1st £35 was just for one months subscription. JustAnswer then charged me £35 a month after 3 days every month via subscription ongoing. This is also NOT CLEAR or visible in the fine print: (at least on a tiny phone app). If you do not know you are being billed for months and contact customer support, they will not refund you. Cancel your membership within 3 days or auto-billing continues with zero refund onwards - this is whats needs to be stated in large text, (not a hidden contract for £1). I have not used this website for 3 months and will never use it again. I would have rather given all this money to the freelance person who is sadly having to advertise their services via this unethical site

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE ( SCAM )

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE ( SCAM )

I needed some advice and did some googling regarding
my enquir
I paid £1 which was taken from my account immediately
The info they gave me was which I already knew, seemed dodgy, so I quickly went onto paypal to check what was happening if anything.
Eventually I found a direct debit agreement on Paypal for a monthly payment of £35 which I cancelled and Paypal responded that they had cancelled it.
I will keep checking to make sure it has in fact been cancelled.
I gave JUST ANSWER a really bad report
Since then they wont leave me alone.
Their messages keep coming and I will keep reviewing them to warn the public re. scammers
They had slipped in their ad within the site of a really large public service company.
As an addition. I have noticed another charge for £16

Was happy with info just to get fraudulent charges

got on your app and I thought I would pay the $1 for a 7 day trial period. I had an issue that I felt this might come in handy on different occasions. So for $1 it was a great way to test it out. I have to say, the first question I received horrible information. It was an IT issue I was having. Then I had another severe issue that I absolutely needed a professional opinion on. The help was very much appreciated. The man conducting the the process was quick, thorough and I felt his opinion on this problem was probably spot on. However, while submitting answers to his questions there was a prompt to agree to a $50 charge to speak to him on the phone. I declined and informed the physician that I was unable to pay for his services because I work in a convenience store and I support 2 people with that tiny income. He encouraged me to continue texting and I finished our conversation. When done I gave the doctor a fantastic review. I logged off. Check my email. Then it happened. And I was so shocked and dismayed at what I had received. Multiple charges from my bank. I was to stunned. I started opening and there were duplicates but I opened the $1 and I was ok. I just deleted the second email duplicate. But the 3rd and 4th were charges from Just Answer in the amount of $46. Oh my God!! I was willing to stop the interaction between the physician and myself and go without a diagnoses because I am unable to pay the fees. I had just enough in my account to purchase food to last til Friday and enough gas to get to and from work til Friday. A whole $50. And you took it without my authorization. I have contacted my bank and I've emailed my friend an attorney. I will be taking actions to do everything in my power to stop you from doing this to another soul that has no food, no gas to go to work and is injured and according to YOUR physician that I need to seek my primary physician and 8 definitely can't afford because I won't be able to get to work to earn enough money to pay for a doctor.. I thank God that I have a great friend who is a top notch attorney and he WILL take this into his own hands. I hope he brings you sorry pieces of **** to your knees.

Sincerely Pissed Off and Hungry
