WE DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING FROM THIS…

WE DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING FROM THIS COMPANY!! Extremely poor customer service, pettiness from a family-owned business, and policies that create hassles and cost you more money than necessary should you need to exchange an item. Be warned that should you order online and find that you need a different size, they will make the exchange/return process very difficult, and they also DO NOT ALLOW ANY REFUNDS AT ALL, only exchanges. Our experience - we ordered a pair of size 7 shoes for our daughter for Christmas, and when they came, they didn't fit her like other shoes in that size normally do. We've had the need to do online returns before with other companies, and the return process was always very simple and easy and no extra cost to us. Not so with this company and their return/exchange process. I emailed Rod and requested to exchange for a size 6. His very short response was, "Unfortunately, that size is not available." He offered no other information and no other solution. I then go to their website and see that a 6.5 is available, which is better than nothing, so I ask for that exchange. He then gives me the information to do an exchange, and tells me it'll happen only after they've received the product back and if that size is still available at the time they receive it, leaving the very real possibility that the size will no longer be available by that time. My next solution is to cancel the order for the 7's and get a refund so that I can then place another order for the size 6.5's. That's when I learn that they don't accept refunds at all, so I'd be stuck paying for two shoes if I placed the order while that 6.5 was still available to be purchased. So we are stuck doing the return of the 7's and crossing our fingers that the 6.5's will still be available by the time they receive the returned shoes. Lo and behold, just after I schedule the return with UPS and had to pay an extra $19 for the return shipping, the size 6.5's disappear from their website and are gone. So at that point we decide to just keep the bigger size instead of go through with the return, because she loves the shoes so much that she's willing to just try wearing thick socks and deal with them being slightly too big. Having the 7's was better than sending them back and being out both the 7's and the 6.5's. But I did send an email letting them know what happened and why we were keeping the shoes, also letting them know that their no refund policy caused us to miss out on the half size that would've worked better...no response from them at all. The next day, I decide to check the website one last time and the size 6.5's are back on the website again, so I just go ahead and place the order before they disappear again, deciding that we will deal with selling the size 7's on our end. Well, today they had the audacity to just outright cancel my second order. And all this after they had placed a little paper message into the original order asking for good reviews because they are a small, family-owned business and only received unhappy experience reviews in the past. I was all ready to give a great review to help them out...until we experienced what we did with them. Especially after canceling the second order. In our opinion, due to the very repeatedly negative experiences we personally had with them over two separate orders, they have fully earned the negative ratings they've received.
