It brings comprehension of the world so much closer to so many.
I bought this inflatable globe to use with Microsoft Flight Simulator to get an appreciation of great circle routes around the Earth. Very pleased with it. It is very light to handle, a good size, quite easy to blow up and holds it's pressure very well. I blew it up well over a fortnight ago, I think, and it is still fully inflated, no leaks at all. The seams are tight and all the map segments match up pretty much perfectly. Some of the dots indicating cities are off target by perhaps two millimetres. For example, Newcastle, in the North of England, is placed near Carlisle and Liverpool is in Wales. The globe is by an American company but is actually made in China, despite assurances on the website. There is no indication on this globe of Chinese possession of the South China Sea though. For the price, very good value I think. It is fascinating to see relative sizes of land areas (and seas) in true global perspective.
