Got presented with jewelry about 3 years ago by a relative. Absolutely loved the jewelry, but the ring did not fit. It was no problem to exchange the ring quickly, contact with customer service was swift and friendly and for 3 years the quality is stable and I love the thoughtful and elegant design. (I think this was in 2023)
Having originally purchased a handbag in mid-Nov, which advertised 5-days dispatch, the item was not dispatched until after 10 days, by which point i was about to go away. I received a notification from Parcel Force that I had to pay an extra £100 to receive the parcel. I did not think the product was worth it and, when contacting the shop, the customer service was incredibly rude saying that I should have been familiar with UK import regulations before buying it and that they would refund the item MINUS SHIPPING FEES once they received it.
It has been ten days since they received the parcel and I still haven't received my refund or any type of communication in spite of repeatedly emailing them.
Despite marketing themselves as someone who compete in quality and ethics rather than price, the quality of the product did not at all match description.
Then, they circumvent their own return policy and EU-legislation by simply refusing to pick up returned parcels. As long as the item is not formally returned, it is hard to demand a refund or reclaim custom fees and taxes.
It is now more than five months since I started to try to return the product, and the issue is far from resolved. I have payed for one original postage and two return postages, carefully following the return instructions on their web page. In addition comes the cost of the product (not cheap), custom fees and time spent on preparing the return. Twice.
Costumer service replies quickly, but the answers are all about blaming the buyer for failures that are on the sellers side.
Not sure if it is just a poorly run business, or a pure scam all together. Either way, you will save yourself a lot of time, money and frustration if you stay away from this seller.
