This was my first Just You experience although I have travelled solo before. I selected this as it was a short “trial” experience and I have always wanted to see Monte’s Garden. The crowd of 36 women was great - all female with interesting stories. The Eurostar journey was good and the tour guide was on hand throughout, from meeting us at St Pancras International on the way out to wishing us farewell on the way home. The hotel near Paris was great, although I’m not sure they were geared up to cope with the influx of 36 women at one time! The excursions were good although the additional paid for trips were quite expensive and the Paris by Night trip was in daylight (time of the year) so the Eiffel Tower lights were turned on just as we were leaving. The Monet Gardens experience was good, if a little long (for me, as someone who is inclined to rush). Versailles was, as usual, busy but the gardens were extensive and enjoyable. I walked 17,000+ steps that day, despite spending a while on the coach and at the bar/restaurant. Overall a good few days with interesting fellow travelers.
