Deeply Disappointed – Felt Let Down as a Victim of Crime
I hired this debt collection agency after a court judgment was made in my favour — I am the creditor, and money is legally owed to me by someone who essentially stole from me. I expected the agency to act professionally and persistently in helping me recover the funds. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience.
They charged me £120 for a supposed “trace” on the debtor, which turned out to be completely false and unverified. When I provided clear proof that the trace was incorrect, they refused to offer a refund or even acknowledge the error properly.
Worse, after that, they made very little effort to pursue the case. I feel they took my money and did the bare minimum — if that — despite knowing I’m the victim of a crime with a court ruling in my favor. Debt collection agencies are meant to support victims in situations like this, but instead I felt ignored and unsupported.
I regret trusting them with my case. If you are a legitimate creditor looking for real help, I strongly suggest you look elsewhere.
