The staff member assaulted me
The staff member assaulted me. Never felt worse leaving a store. Looking at last minute gifts for the holiday and then were accused of stealing a cheap rainbow bracelet. Offered to show my bag and the lady started riffling around with all my belongings even after I told her to stop. I offered to move them myself for her too. Talked loudly to the other staff and said that “there is definitely one missing”. Humiliating and embarrassing. I was with my little sister and she had to stand by and watch as I was accused of being a thief of a tiny rainbow bracelet that looked like it was made by a 3 year old. It’s illegal to touch a customers belongings, you and your staff assaulted and publicly humiliated me.
